Droped Ryu today and picked up Ken and got 8 win off the bat! He has all the moves that Ryu should have. Ryu=Turtulers Ken=Rushdown, thats how they made it! Ken’s Hurricane kick goes over Fireballs!! more priority on Shoryuken!! Better crossup, better mix ups, better zoninig, better pokes, faster. Word on the street is that the Center purchased 4 kits and sold 2 to Kansas City. Dunno when they will get them in or if they are getting new machines for them (god I hope so). But don’t take this as 100% sure.

Well, I’m at least part of the NE scene that goes to the Center for 3rd Strike, so I might as well put myself out here.

For what it’s worth, while I usually go Friday and/or Saturday nights, at the moment I can hit it up on Wednesdays as well (a seemingly unlikely day for anyone else, perhaps, but one never knows!)

Also, let me add how underwhelmed I am by SFIV at the moment (of course, this may be due in part to my general lack of interest in fighting games outside of 3rd Strike, but still).

It seems to be doing okay as far as birthday parties and redemption games go, but the fighting games (except for Marvel) are in ass condition. Getting the technicians to replace buttons/sticks is like trying to get Amy Winehouse off drugs.
