all I can say is that the manager can’t keep putting things off like getting newer games/cabs since we all know that the GRIP of fighting games are coming out this year and next summer. I’d love to get to play people in SBX and TvsC. I’m just pissed that arcade version of SF4 will not be like the console version, ie, more characters like my boi Fei.

They will probably just make a 360/ps3 cab for SF4 :sad:. Seems like that’s been happening for quite a few games (guitar hero, singstar, smash, etc.).

What time? I’m running the VG room of the Otaku Omaha con that weekend. Gonna be a 3S + GG tourney supposedly.
We’re usually there until from around 3pm to close, if there’s another even going on though we could just wait.
I dunno, like, the 3S tourney is on saturday but I don’t think anyone who wasn’t already going to go to the con will be in. Seeing as how you’d have to pay the con fee AND the tourney fee. It’s kind of not worth it. Although Keith Burgess (voice of Akuma in SF Alpha) is going to make an appearance.
I’m not entirely sure what hours i’m going to be there are. Hopefully I will be able to hit up the FFC for a bit.

I wouldn’t worry about it anymore. I was finally able to get in touch with Cay and he said that the prizes are going to be $50 dollar gift bags for Guitar Hero and Brawl and $20 gift bags for Guilty and DDR. He’s not sure if there is going to be enough interest in a Third Strike tourney. If there was, the prize would be something like a $20 gift bag. So unless you are interested in the con itself it’s not really worth it to come up.
