For now, neither, I don’t own either system. And if I did I don’t have the online connectivity to get the downloadable game, cause that’s extra service fees on top off cable modem connection on top of the expensive system. If I ever have a 1,000 to throw around then yeah I’d probably get an XBOX 360 and have to figure out how to connect to the internet.
PS3 since I have one and I don’t have a 360.
I use arcade sticks for fighters so the controller thing is a non issue with me. When this game is about to drop I’ll see what Hori and / or Mas have available for the PS3.
I still have my regular Xbox for any other 2D online matches.
XBLA…actually going to have to buy Xbox 360 just to play this game haha. I’m sure it will be well worth it though.
Edit: Is it possible to play the Xbox version of CvS2 on xbox 360 online or even at all?

PS3. I own both, but the 360 pad fails horribly, and PSN = free, which is good considering I don’t really play much of anything online very often.
To me, it first depends on which one does online better. I don’t they will be the exact same. If they are, then it comes down to controllers available. I want to wait to see what HORI will come up with this summer for the 360 so I can compare it to HRAP3/VSHG.
For now, I voted PS3 because I don’t think HORI will give us a good 360 stick when that summer comes.

i have a question guys, since hdtv lags, how are they going to implement lagfree game play on a hdtv or do can we play it on regular tube tvs?
Man. People. It only lags on HDTV if you have the non-HD consoles. If you played it on the PS2, it’d lag. On the Gamecube, it’d lag. The 360 and PS3 have those HD cables. They’re meant to work on HDTV.
Its not the cables, its that the 360 and ps3 actually output in HD while the other systems (except xbox1) dont therefor the hdtv tries to upconvert and that takes time so it lags

Enjoy the system(s) you have / will get and play some games even if you’re just gaming on your cell phone nowadays, or not gaming at all, whatever. So long as you post on SRK you’re cool with me. When either Microsoft or Sony starts writing me checks I’ll participate in these fanboy arguments.
