I was just curious. Speaking for myself, I always wonder who’s new, and what are they like. In SSF4, I’m looking forward to using Juri. In T6, I use Bob and Lars. However, I’m sure some people on SRK are looking forward to a modified T.Hawk, and some Tekken people like/dislike the changes to their main.
So… not really a versus (which one is better). More like a personal preference thing.
Not gonna lie, I played Ryu in my first match of SFIV.
I like to play as the old characters first to get a feel for the systems of the game. After a while I’ll usually pick up one of the newer ones.

I like it when they balance both aspects like in SFA.
Nothing gets me harder than returning characters. It almost makes me want to touch myself. Almost.

Well Rule 34 of Juri was nice. And I still love Rule 34 of Cammy.
But Rule 34 of them both together would turn me on much more.
Why cant I vote both?
An old character is essentially a new character seen twice or more.

When I look at the details of a new revision of a FG I play, what gets me hyped up is system, balance changes, and new stuff for returning characters. Generally I believe it’s a bad sign when the only thing that interests me in a new revision is a new character.

Old characters with new looks, new moves and some of their old moves with some updated alterations.
Both for me as well. Unless I don’t like the new or old characters. xD
