its not a super huge deal… and matter of fact they will have a unique tag throws and combos.
like/like(anna/bruce), like/hate(alisa/jack), hate/hate(Djin/Hei)

Unique tag throws and combos are another big thing about this game… depending on what characters you’re playing you can come with a BUTT load of combo extensions and set-ups! All of which can be influenced by damage output, environmental aspects, regular/counter hits, Netsu building… So much depth… I also like how Namco organized the move sets so that beginners will be provided with knowledge of the character they are playing (between traditional moves, bound moves, etc).
Now I’m putting Lars and Lee to the test in Arcade, then Jun and Asuka (Asuka has a neutral relationship with Jun but Jun gets a boost in Netsu earlier)
word.
i’ll be following in the footsteps of chanel and trying out alisa/jaycee but i’ll give alisa/kunimitsu a shot, too.
Asuka and Lili for me. And maybe Asuka and Jun.
I’ve never been decent in my eyes at 3D fighters but I’ll be trying out Jinpachi/King and see how that goes.
I’m slightly interested in this game but I have no idea who to pick. Normally I just pick keepaway characters but, um… 3D game. If I were to pick just based off of looks I’d probably go with Alisa/Jaycee or Alisa/Zafina.
Got mine 2day. Im rocking Jun/Asuka AKA Team Kazama. Asuka im ok with cause i used her in Tekken 6 but Jun I still need 2 figure out
Forrest/Feng!!! but i suck
Trying out Anna / Armor King. Still rusty.
Will be going with Feng/Kunimitsu. Have been playing a little bit of Tekken 6 to learn backdash cancelling and learning practical moves for Feng.
At first, i was thinking about using Lars, mostly because i used him in SFxT. Then i saw how awesome Jaycee is, so i will try her no matter what. Just like in SFxT, finding a second character will be daaaamn hard and fun I was thinking about Jaycee/Angel, but im pretty sure i have to test nearly whole cast (again, just like in SFxT) Cant wait till friday.
Hwoarang/Jinpachi
i am running forest/jinpachi but i really have no idea what i am doing so i need to study up like did for virtua fighter. also is this a good team for newbie?
Hey! I called that team already!
Okay… Now it is time to whip out Christie and Michelle and see what I can get away with here.
Kuma/Panda will be my main
Tapatalk
Similar boat, I spent most of last night just running through the list of characters I was interested in playing and trying them all out.
I’m actually kinda’ upset that… I’m going to end up playing Lili again. Played her for like five minutes and it felt like I was right at home, lol. I’m supposed to leave that girl alone but dammit I can’t drop her!
Leo/Feng is fucking fun though, this is actually my main team now.
Jaycee/Kuni is fun too. Also, Michelle! <3
I even played my scrubby-ass Lei and got blew up by a much better Lei player (good friend of mine), but it was fun playing him for a few seconds lol.
Side note: thought I might learn this game on stick. That lasted like one hour before I went “fuuuuuuuuuuuuck that noise.” I’m not undoing ten+ years of playing Tekken on pad. I’ll use the stick on the 2D games I play. :razzy:
Kinda’ off topic but that used to cause so much shit between me and my cousins back in the day, lol. “I called them already you can’t play them!”
Gonna give Jaycee / Kunimitsu a whirl.
I’m going Forest/Alex. Nothing but Flash Kicks and Dino-Shoryukens
Haven’t played Tekken in years so I’m a born again Tekken noob but I’ve been messing around with Bruce and Draganov because I’m a fan of Muay Thai and Sambo martial arts and am loving it so far.
