What is the name of the song that Howard Stern used to use all the time on his radio show as a commercial bumper. It has a VERY strong and distinctive electric guitar intro…some rock and roll song, I don’t know the name of it.
Might be difficult seeing as how Travis laid those drums FOR that song.
I need to know the name of a song.
Yung Joc made ‘Bout It’ and it was in Step Up.
There’s a similar song or perhaps maybe it’s just a techno remix of Bout It.
Anyways, does anyone know what I’m talking about it?
The part of Bout It that is most relevant to the song in question is:

58 seconds in to 1:16.
These kids had a Step Up 2 type of battle at the park and is where I heard it.

The song near the end of Pineapple Express after they
Conquered the drug runners
It’s a really quirky but cool theme, anyone know where it’s from?
the song in police academy 1 when the 2 brownnosers go to the blue oyster club, when they start dancing with the biker dudes, i would love to learn how to play that with my sax.
Anyone know the name of that new age-sounding song with the violin that has been used in a lot of commercials and movie trailers? Often plays alongside a dramatic panning camera view from afar and shit. Sorta sounds like this:
do-do-do-do-do-dooo
(higher pitch) do-do-dooo
(lower pitch) do-do-dooo
Sorry, best I can do.

If it’s the movie trailers where you heard the song then it’s probably the Lord of the Rings remix of it, which is a bit more dramatic with the bass:

It’s by DJ Clent - Back up off me, can find a direct MP3 download but you can convert the youtube music:

Thanks, but it’s not that song. That one sure is in a lot of movie trailers though, good to know the name of it. The one I’m thinking of is probably older and has an… I dunno, happier vibe I guess. Sounds a bit like something Moby would compose.
This one is driving me crazy.
It starts with a piano and the piano is in most of the song. It’s sung by a guy with a higher pitched voice. The begining starts with him saying something like " I lost my way. Lost my heart. Something something should have known right from the start. "
The chorus is something like “yeah it’s some where why don’t we go. Yeah it’s some where why don’t we go? It’s always the hardway. Always the hardway”
At first I thought it was coldplay cause it’s that style of music but I dont think so.
Can anybody help?

Does anyone know the name/artist of this song? I’ve done a lyric search, can’t find anything.

So, I asked about this song a long time ago but couldn’t produce a clip. Well, here it is:
What song is this?
Sounds like something done just for the commercial. Sorry, but yes, they still sometimes compose original music instead of ripping off hits from either the 80’s or present time.
Rarely will they create songs that sound classical/baroque, though. I think it’s a clip from something much, much longer.
looks down Nope…still all there…
I was watching that show “royal pains” and in one scene these bitches were singing this song that was like
“SHUT UP AND LET ME GO…HEY!”
it was catchy as hell.
HALP.
