What song was that? The thread

O’Neill/Bird = The Duke Spirit - Wooden Heart
Nash/Kid = Radiohead - House of Cards
Garnett/Billups = Great Northern - Low is a Height
James/Garnett = Rachel’s - Water From The Same Source

I got two.

I was in chinatown in nyc in some dvd store, and they had a chinese cover song of the numa numa song on tv. anyone know what that song is.

Also there is a house song i have been trying to figure out for awhile. the only lyrics i know though are “Girl, hold on” then a bunch of other ones but i can’t remember them. I tried on google…but i guess those aren’t enough lyrics.

its not this is it?

Starting at 0:08 does anyone know the name of the song?

Yeah thats it…i thought it was bob sinclar…to bad i had the words wrong!

Your a hero!

There is an alternative rock song that begins with the lyrics ‘They tell me to put rogaine in my hair’, and it sounds a bit like a Weezer song. Anybody have any idea? I believe there is also a line in there that says ‘Oakley makes the shades that transform the tools’ – could’ve heard it wrong, but I feel that the line is oh so true.

Weezer - Pork and Beans

Much appreciated. Knew it was Weezer.

Found it.

I’m diggin’ this jam.

Sorry to resurrect an old thread, but I have this song that I can’t for the life of me figure out. There’s no lyrics, but the tune is so familiar than I’m certain everyone here knows it.

I just need to know the name:

What tune is the one they sometimes play when airing historical sports achievements of a person or team and things like that where I BELIEVE it’s a piano tune done by Coldplay? Sounds something like:

DO do-do DO do-do DO… DO do-do DO do-do DO…

Coldplay - Clocks? http://youtube.com/watch?v=c9j_RZDqYc4

Heineken commercial. “it’s love…it’s love… it’s lalalalalove”…lol

THAT IS EXACTLY IT!!! I heard some pianist at a bar in Vegas play it while entertaining some crowd during July 4th week and it was stuck in my head ever since.

I was in Beverly Hills the other day and at the Louis Vuitton store they were playing “Girl from Ipanema.” Thing is, it was a remix. It sounded like a club remix w/a female singing over it so it wasn’t that “Boy from Ipanema” version.

I can’t find that mix anywhere on the net w/random searches so I’m looking for who mixed that mix.

I’m also still looking for a song I asked about way back in either this thread or another “What song was that” thread. The hook was something like “Raquel you are, something, something…Raquel” w/trumpets along the way. I NEED to know what this song is since it drives me crazy when I hear it once in a blue moon and no one in the vicinity knows who the artist is.

Lil Wayne song with the same sample as Outkast’s JazzyBell

There was a rap song back in the mid 90’s…I don’t the know the name of it. But there were two women (at least) singing, and they had a dude guest-rapping. Some of the lyrics sung by the women included

“We’re coming on cool, break it on down”.
"Hip-hop beat (beat) going (going) with a lil bit of a swing (to it).

At one part the guy breaks into his solo there was one part where he says:

“Can I get a witness?”

and they respond

“Yes you can!”

and the last part of his solo was

“Stronger, faster, bionic”

anybody know of the band that covered

“Zombie” by The Cranberries

The boss fight song on parasite eve when you fight that 2-headed dog. Is it on youtube? :wonder:

what is it?
