This particular song has the riff of eye of the tiges, except it’s sung by a lady and I imagine it’s older. It’s a classic rock song.

i need help with a song thats’ been haunting me in my daily activities.
genre: rock, but modern in a sense, i heard it recently on a eclectic indie rock station in my area but they didnt’ say the title.
year: i can remember it since 2001.
male vocal: it sounds like the male vocalist who fronted the B-52’s, you know the band who sung Loveshack. 
it starts off with a guitar intro/solo that’s very catchy becuase of the reverbing echo effect thet put on it.

the video starts out with a blk dude in a business suit holding a boombox and some cardboard in front of a dinner, a blk lady and white dude walk up and mention something about him doing this every year, the song starts. i white dude is singing in the dinner while watching the blk dude in the suit poplock, then he starts to uprock then breaks. they flash back to when he was a bboy with his girlfriend and he battles his younger self. story goes he loses the chick and he dances every year in her memory… what is the name of the song?
