The original song that’s been “chimpmunk’d” is called “Remember Walking In The Sand” by The Shangri-Las.
That’s all I have.

Song on MTV 3 - Mix Mex Hour
Yesterday, Thursday, April 12, I finally came across a song I’ve been looking for in who knows how long. But the thing is, they never showed the title of the song or the name of the band! Ever! So maybe one of you guys or gals can help me out.
The video played in the Mix Mex show, around 6-8 pm-ish, and the video was about the band’s leader performing a magic trick (Houdini’s Water Chamber trick) where the assistant takes away his lock pick and is going to kill him. He then breaks free anyway, and the assistant girl slips on the water and breaks her neck. Oh, and I remember there being a “Zorbo” lock shown throughout. But alas, typing in Zorbo into google didnt wield any results. Oh, and the band sounds an awfully lot like Moenia
So if anyone can help me out, I would really appreciate it

Lost Without You by Robin Thicke?
For anyone interested, Gary Jules’ “Mad World” is actually a Tears for Fears cover.
It’s interesting to hear Jules’ reworking of the original. The song is from an album called The Hurting. Check it out…

Looking for a song that goes something like:
“Grant my self defense we’re getting nowhere. So, let’s go there. Lay down beside me. Blah-blah-blah-blah blah, blah-blah-blah blah-blah, lay down beside me.”
The music video features some guys robbing a jewelry store or something like that, the swat team shows up and the guy lays down on the floor and continues to sing, I believe he gets arrested at the end.
Dont know the peeps or the name of this song, can’t even get the lyrics right. It goes something like…
:: I want your girl. she looks way better than mine, if you dont give her up i’ll take her from you.::
It’s a hyphy song.
Rap song, sounds like Lil Wayne, chorus says something like “I don’t want no goodie goodie” something about chicks.
Thanks, I hear people playing this song all the time from their cars, just never got the name of the shit.
Yeah! Thanks alot! That’s the song i was searching for! How did you know? Damn i love this thread. If im ever confused about a song ill come right here.:encore:
