Hey guys I passed through Corpus this weekend on the way to Harlingen and I happened to tune into C101 since the San Antonio stations were out. I have a quick question, I heard a song on there that I’ve never heard played around here. The damned thing was badass but try as I might, I can’t find the name of it.

I recall the lyrics…

Ok I heard this song off the radio. It sounds like it’s from Kill Bill 1 but I’m not sure. The lyrics, which I remember the chorus is this:

And I’m just a poor man that’s [somethingsomething].
Oh boy, please do let me be misunderstood.

Then it goes into a song with trumpets and brass. Sounds like it was made during the late 70’s or early 80s. Please help me!

Alright. . heard a song … in a club … and everybody knew the lyrics but me … the chorus is:

I thought it might be Jeezy or TI … but if it is it aint on their newest albums I know. AND the bass was knocking so bad it might not be either one.
