Its things like this that I feel should be patched and its very simple. Theres a reason why they patched in from SFIV to SSFIV. Preventing movement after a match ends. I realize this is marvel you’re just giving rage quitters a reason to rage. Leave it alone in person and offline, but online its so easy to make someone pull the plug by taunting at the end or tbagging like a douchebag. ESPECIALLY if you’re barely winning with X-factor which brings into question your skill level.
I can’t tell you how many times I’ve gotten super pissed off and after I beat someone cheesing with X-factor or laming with Sent/Phoenix, I made people rage because I use Thor and I taunted at the very last second. And if you’ve seen Thor’s taunt he sits there twirling Moljiner for a good 5 extra seconds.
I know man, it was just such a stupid sentence, I had to make fun of it.

I was laughing so hard when I found out my spam was combos (I spammed Tron 20+ Seconds combos into DHC glitch), but then relized that he may be new to this game and went hard on him. Sometimes instead of putting salt on a salty player, you… put sugar? Or something like that.

It’s not much, but I have gotten surprisingly little hate mail in this game. I went into a player match. The opponent had something along the line of Wolverine/Akuma/Sentinel, don’t remember exactly, just that it was yet another of those uncreative tier teams, of course in all black. I beat his first two characters, and he proceeds to use level 3 Sentinel and spam mindlessly, but I still managed to win. I exited after that and got a simple:
“pussy”

Yes, I hit the taunt button when I’m winning with Hulk. Why? Because I enjoy seeing Hulk express himself. This was something I picked up from another Hulk player before I mained him.
Your opinion on taunting in a game and defending your friend for catching feelings over it is unmistakably absurd. Honestly, what do you think he was trying to achieve by messaging me “don’t be a dick,” when he got BODIED FOR FREE? And he’s worried about the taunt? lol
That begs the question: how awful do you have to be at sex to finish in under 30 seconds?
Sad to say, apart from a someone over on the other side of the Atlantic telling me to “upgrade my dial-up”, I’ve had little in the way of responses to my wins. On the contrary, a player named Frozen Flame7 is someone I get matched with and destroyed by online on a regular basis, and he’s been kind enough to points out particularly silly mistakes I made in our matches once or twice. Nice guy.
Not a hate mail but I was in a party with a couple buddies and some random dude off another one of my friends buddy list came int and we just started talking mvc3. Then I was talking about how I had recently picked up Dante and the random dude started talking about how his buddy can do these crazy long combos with Dante… then he said.
“No offense man but people who do stuff like that are just kind of gay man, I don’t like that.”
I was like what? Combos?
he goes “Yea you could say that”
I found this hilarious. Apparently even comboing is gay now, MvC3 should be a non stop poking battle

You picked up taunting after a win from another person? That’s your excuse? Hell, I do that on my own, it doesn’t take watching another player to learn that. It’s almost like human nature.
I like doing combos in the middle of a match with Wolverine because I like how he expresses himself by yelling how unacceptable your strategy is.
Taunting at the end is boring unless u add some style.
My fav things are to finish with a lunch rush, x factor then raw tag to deadpool and show off his funny raw tag animation. Viewtiful Joe Desperado X Factor Taunt is great too.
I always do all 3 of Taskmasters counters when I win. “Huh, Hah, Bring it!”
I dont really play Tasky, but its funny when he beats a “braindead” player and the taunt says “Dont yah know any other moves?”

I got my first message last week. I have Phoenix in my team and she was the last character and I got timed out before I could do better. (Had I terrible input lag, so any shoryuken motion was heel to do)
So the guy sends me “didn’t your phoenix trickery work?”
I really don’t get those people. If they think she’s too powerful use her, if you still don’t like her, snap her in. It is as if people who played Sagat in Vanilla had to apologize for picking a good character, or any game that has a really good character for that matter.
