I play this game 2-3 times a week, thats far less than most people here. So no I dont take this game way too seriously. You should learn to think with your head first and not your ass.

If everyone thought like that guy nobody would have problems with Phoenix. Honestly the best thing to against Phoenix is just do shit. The matchup pretty much comes down to “did you land something one time or not.” You’re not going to win waiting for something that’s for sure.

dias flac, we somehow played a few good games ages ago with a relatively decent connection, possibly back in vanilla. i came in at the last page and after reading a couple of posts went off to watch the donttasemebro video. saw it load up and instantly had a bad impression of the guy.

however after reading the baiting messages you sent him it’s obvious you were being a bit of a fud, and after reading your posts here i notice you’re making yourself look really bad in this thread too. your posts are sprawling on and on, and any time someone disagrees with your opinion you instantly insult them. just sayin. timer scamming or laming people out is completely legit imo, but your general conduct is just in poor form and it’s making you look like a bit of a twunt.

People like this guy are the reason I question why I would ever press the home button to look at the replies. (the answer is- because there’s nothing to do while my opponent is picking chars, but I digress)

When I started playing SF4 I’d win a ton of matches, then I’d finally lose and I’d turn my console off at the Rematch/Char-Select/Exit screen. I’d always turn my PS3 on to a shitstorm of “RAGE QUITTER AHAHAHHA” / “YOU GOT RAPPPEEEEED” / etc.

The current generation of gamers who were highly influenced by the attitudes of Counter-Strike players and the like have brought their way of thinking, attitudes, and consistently horrible spelling and grammar to the new games. (Outside of COD, I assume the random 12 y/o may play SF4/MVC3/Any other game designed with the intent that anyone can play and have fun doing cool combos with little effort)

I’ve met several younger players (actually they’re usually around my age- but I was raised in the FGC, so they’re younger in terms of experience.) and when I ask them “Do you play any other games?” and they say “Halo/cs/cod, or what have you” it makes sense to me why they are so lax with their profanity, and their behavior is so juvenile.

So if you believe yourself to be a smart individual, who is interested in getting better at these competitive fighting games then ignore their posts and spend the 45 seconds you’d use typing to them, in training mode. Those 45 seconds add up and I assure you, you’ll be more happy when you win a tourney. If you happen to meet a player like that IRL at a tourney or meet-up, rape the shit out of him in-game and if he speaks to you the way he speaks online, smile and take solace in the fact that you’re smarter than him, better at the game, have the capability to win money off of the game and are cool, calm and collected.

He’s a pretty good player I wouldn’t mind battling him offline.

As for the games themselves, the connection started off godd (with the normal inputlag) but after the first 5 matches or so we started getting some lag spikes here and there. But what can we do about marvel 3’s horrible netcode?

Anyways, I kept it real and use my main and ONLY team Wolve, Chun, and Morri. He used different teams up until I had 5 wins under my belt. Then he switched to his main. I think he totaly underestimated me. He says he did not but I think he did. Probably thought I was gonna be horrible xD

Now to finish up, Jalen SRK got to use a lil quote on me so I think I deserve my chance to use my own quote.
