Believe me, I did notice the delay and you weren’t the only one affected. I was mashing cr.L as much as you were mashing j.H, and I can’t tell you how many times I tried advancing guard that only to dash/stick out a limb and then eat a full Tron combo. The fact that you could land it so consistently was what I found impressive. I understand you’re playing to win, and that’s fine if you don’t feel like sending a “ggs” back, but at least don’t send a message with a negative tone and leave a match after sending it. Leaves a lot to be misinterpreted.
I got ragemail from this “The True Gouki” dude. He said I was a “Simple, spam lord” and that I was spamming and my team was cheap (W.S.S), then he proceed to say that I didn’t let his low health team (Zero, Akuma and someone else I forgot) fight fair etc.
I told him to man up and learn to play etc. That it was useless to discuss cuz I’m playing on a competitive level and he don’t and recommended him SRK and told him what could counter my spam (which I think he meant combos).
Then me moved on and msg me this:
“Ah, srk.com, come share your spam techniques here! No thanks, bud. I’d rather play with dignity rather for the easiest way to win. If competing means safe spam and keep away, then that is one femme competition.”

Whenever people use that logic, I imagine two dudes in a knife fight. The first guy starts out doing tricks with his butterfly knife spinning it around for a few seconds, and then the second guy just reaches out and stabs the other one. So this guy is a total joke.
I caught a guy’s Sentinel and Dr. Doom in a Single DHC Combo using Ryu, Deadpool, and Dante. Ryu Lazer’d, Deadpool GUnned (And killed Doom), and Dante used Devil Must Die to kill Sentinel. Akuma jumps in, and then bam, lost connection to the player.
Later, I get a message saying ‘Dude, that was some wicked good playing and all, but fuck that noise man, I ain’t here to play with no god damn fuckin’ murders’
I didn’t really know what to reply with, so I said ‘Sorry, I just hate your team.’
He replied with ‘It’s cool bro, you and everyone else.’

I’m a moderate player, 6th Lord – well I play a Team Avenger, guys name was Peroxcide or something along those lines with a 1100-200 or so record.
Well he rocks me most of the match, but I come back on him with Level 3 X-Factor Tasky and as soon as I land the last hit of my arrows, he disconnects then has the nuts to message me (after his connection restored so 2 minutes later):
“Hey man, why ya quit? You won”
I had played around 20 matches prior to that with no problems, so it’s obvious he rage quit to save his record. I said, I know what you did you cheap ass trying to save your record.
So he insists it was my connection, which is bullshit. I never ragequit and it really pisses me off when people do – your record worth that much to you?
Steer away from that guy if you see him.

Now my Wolverine is decent and I’ve been getting alot of hatemail. Like a ridiculous amount for no reason. Its sad that people don’t know that I never do low attacks with Wolverine so they can block high the whole match and watch for the cross-up. So here is a conversation I had with a guy who is not to be named…

Some funny shit. Another guy challenged me to MVC2 after I whipped them with my main team of Wolverine/Zero/Arthur. I have a decent Scrub and Team THC (Juggernaut/BBHood/Capcom) in MVC2. The nigga don’t want none, cuz I can be a true scrub in MVC2. So here is what happened:
Guy: “BET YOU CAN’T DO THAT SHIT IN MARVEL 2 SCRUB”
Me: “Ok well Imma play MVC2 a little. Wanna play?”

I invited him and he picked IM/Sentinel/Cyclops which Combofiend has been using in the MVC2 tourneys that he was in, so I saw all of those top tier characters and said “hey, I should show him what spam really is!!!”
I pick Team Scrub. I was stomping his ass out with my boy Sent and he quit SOOOOOO FAST.

The salt levels is strong with this one. I beat this guy once when he join my room, and, he’s actually pretty damn decent not to mention likely a little better then I am. I managed to tough it out anyways, and, then comes the first message. We fight again, and, he actually teabags me before the fight even gets going. I still manage to get the victory…and of course he rage quit which I proceeded to call him out on. Do not bother with this guy, obviously anyone that beat him hacked the game somehow as well.

Yeah, that guy’s a ragequitter. I think he’s a Sent baddie, right? I was absolutely destroying him and the connection dropped.
I used to play Wolverine, and he won me a good number of matches. But, well, he’s also one of the most brain-dead characters in the entire game, and you can beat people with one terribly easy combo.
I get why people don’t respect him in this game. I mean, they respect his damage, but Wolverine is easily one of the least technical characters in the game, and winning matches with him doesn’t exactly require a great amount of skill.

Lol he got lucky against me, I had 2 characters left + xfactor, I missed my hyper for ending the combo, I had Hulk+taskmaster I grabbed him and went into hyper, hyper misses Idk why, he rolls behind my hyper, get punished he runs away the last 10seconds on the timer and he wins a lucky timeout lol then he messages me I suck and that he didnt get lucky at all
I mean, he only had me in like 1 combo, I literally blocked all his stuff except for a random crossup
Who gives a shit how technical/non technical a character is. Not every character has to be C. Viper. I think it is dumb when technical ability of character is brought up with the term “respect”. Who cares if Wolverine has an easy BnB… a Wolverine player shouldn’t recieve any more/less respect than someone who uses any other character.
Just got this one after beating some guy named Heir-Noctis-XIII with Doom/Storm/Sent. He couldn’t get around plasma beam + missiles and drones and sent me the following:
