I haven’t gotten that many messages at all beating people. Most I’ve gotten is:

“whooped my ass much? lol”

No hatemail at all. I guess people don’t really get angry at my team because they don’t really see it as annoying. I play Viewtiful Joe / Amaterasu / Chris pretty much exclusively.

I use Wolv/Storm/Doom. I rushdown hard with storm and wolf but if I ever have to bring in Doom I just spam because his dash sucks and air dash after foot dive fails a lot online for me. Maybe a strong rushdown is a more respected playstyle.
Playing Arthur spawns alot of hatemail. The word ‘cheap’ is getting very tiresome to view in messages though, I wish they would write some more colorful insults.

We have a good couple of matches and he suddenly quits. I ask “why’d you leave? I thought we were welled matched”. He responds with…
“Not even close. You were trying to win by running out the clock so instead of chasing your ass, I rather not play you again”
Keep in mind he was playing a Phoenix with level 5, so I tried to run out the last 30 seconds.
I politely asked him why he left and he snapped at me like a grown baby, practically saying “no, I’m better than you! >:p you don’t play fair so bye bye”
Im getting this a LOT now against players ranked 2nd-4th Lord. They have weak point characters so by the time they get Phoenix in, I have almost a two character life lead.
I can’t beat her straight up unless I have meter and Dormy and alive. So I make them show me they can rush me down and run the clock out. 9/10 they cant and get pissed trying to catch me and rage quit when time runs out. If they finally use a super, I switch dormy in, xfc and spam chaotic flame for chip. That super phoenix crap can’t get through chaotic flame so they can’t super on reaction, its beautiful.
I thought I was the only one who thought of running out the clock with a life/character lead on Dark Phoenix players.
I received ragemail for being a “poosay” and running from her. I replied with, “I am the ultimate Phoenix troll!”(I was using doom and sentinal’s fly mode to run away). He sent something back along the lines of, “Fight fair. Don’t run and man up. You fight like a ******.”

I remember getting a hate mail from a 4th Lord that used Phoenix. I left Phoenix at a pixel, and just lamed it out for 20-30 seconds. After successfully running away and winning due to time, he sends me a message saying “weak”. I just responded with “Do you think I’m that stupid?”. I don’t know why they expect people to kill her with no train of thought.
I had a guy disconnect on me the second he say I was using Sentinel, and then told me off for using a character that was already banned in tournaments.
Scrub Phoenix players are the biggest babies. Apparently if you don’t give them the strongest and most broken character in the game, that means you’re scrub.
The logic behind it is retarded. I did the exact same thing to a Phoenix player and he just got so impatient he wasted a hyper bar. So I just Hyper Sentinel Force after i blocked it as he teleported behind me. So many scrub phoenix players online.

lol. There are no people who can play Phoenix right now, they just try and get away with that Dark Phoenix XF3 freebie win. Like Filipino Champ. 
I’m glad there is so much phoenix talk, because I was beating on a certain 4th lord with my team and getting lots of hatemail in the lobby (again, /sigh) so like the 5th time I face this guy he picks Phoenix too, to “Show me how cheap it is” so I said fuck it and I put my Phoenix on point. Not even 10 seconds into the match she is snapped in and dead. Before the next character can even jump onto the screen he ragequits the match and I get “DUMB FUCKING NIG”. Classy to say the least.
What’s with these salty asshats ragequitting in player lobbies now ffs? MVC3 has got some real special individuals playing at the moment.

Despite running the clock being a legit strategy, its a lame one, period. So you’re gonna get people who don’t know how to chase you down and will cry because of it. How you can’t chase anyone down with Phoenix is beyond me. Lay 3 traps and spam slow following fireball
Checked my XBL rep and apparently like 81% don’t like me. Must be because i lame out with phoenix 
I absolutely suck at MvC3 and I won two out of the 10 or so matches i played tonight. First guy RQ after i landed the final blow. Second guy sent me a voice message about how I was a bitch for using Sent and playing keep away. I used Dante’s Jam assist in front of sent’s laser and drones to zone. The guy also had 130+ losses.
Ya know, i have never sent any hatemail and i dont really intend to. But, i am tempted to go online, lose on purpose and then send some very very random “hatemail” to see if it gets posted up on here… for teh lulz and all that… see if i get any wtf responses too…

I have been getting the “f your spam or your a scrub stop spamming that’s cheap.” now what I find funny is the fact that I’m beating them with she hulk and hulk without using any projectiles. I tend to do 600 to 800k per combo and matches vs these people tend to last 25 seconds. So what do they think I’m spamming. I always ask " what was I spamming?" to them and never get any answer that makes any sense. These people are always the ones doing full screen random beam hypers and no combos just projectiles.
After winning a match I got the following message:
“Stupid f@ggot how do you hit on the ground b1tch you suck”
I think he was referring to OTG hits…
