I swear since playing this game it’s like SF4 Vanilla all over again, a flood of casuals who have their own invisible rule books, getting mighty pissed dare anyone don’t mash shit furiously like they do.
I swear to god I got this the other day, against some terrible player who mashed shit constantly, literally mashing out a super as soon as it was available:

if i get hate mail i think that will be my response. although i dont see why i would be getting hate mail if i’m using morrigan/wesker/hsien-ko. i do enjoy spamming hsien-ko’s gong and super armored assists though

With simple mode the game executes the exact same moves and combos depending on what button you press but won’t usually won’t use the characters full arsenal of moves. If you did the same combos over and over (assuming they worked every time) thats probably why he said it. Whats even funnier is the dude insulted himself. If you’re playing on normal you really shouldn’t be losing to someone using simple mode.

tbh though I did do most of my damage doing a combo of mightyswing>MMH>mightyswing>MMH
he could have blocked though, the swing isn’t that fast hahaha

I get hate mail all the time. People telling me I’m a scrub because they get OCV’d. Telling me HULK is cheap.
Someone told me that I should let him attack sometimes, that I was making the game no fun because he had to keep blocking. Once again, I had Hulk on point.
In contrast, after games that were close or where I blow people out of the water, I usually send a message of “gg” or “not bad keep trying” and usually I try and give pointers.

from a kid who actually ragequit, didn’t give me the victory. I had all 3 characters with at least 75% health and had just used x-23’s unblockable level 3 on his last character.
Got another one in the next 3 games! Pretty dumb that people rage at a kid who has hulk on point
