I never get hate mail either. I got more hate mail in HDR than in this game. Maybe it’s because in HDR I throw a lot, and in SF4 I never get a chance to throw, i fish more for counter hits vs scrubs, and I guess i look more skillfull in their eyes.

We all know that glove clad simian is cheap city when he corners you… almost anyone is in IV in fact. Add to that lag, the POS 360 controller I’m still being forced to endure, and the puzzle of your n00bish behavior starts to piece together.

Play with an iota of integrity next time (if you dare!) and maybe I’ll bother giving you a match and you may just avoid another humiliating tirade from yours truly. >_>

so i made my first room of the day and get this angry scrub. His name was DeadShotz…ya, that never bodes too well

First match i pick guile and he was like “omg guile sucks, hes boring” blah blah blah. It was really close but he beat me…w/e, i learned from it

Next two matches i pwn with honda. He was like “you do know Honda SUCKSSS right???”…yup, i managed to pwn you anyway dickhead

next 6 or so matches i dominate with dictator

eventually he evens it up with his scrubby boxer. At this point i was throwing away games with my scrubby Gief since i was bored out of my mind

When he does even it up he runs away, not before saying “YOUR GARBAGE MAN, YOU LAGGIN UP THE ROOM MAN! You gunnah lag man? Garbage”

I sent him a message that said something like this

the online frustration is really rediculous. i faced an abel who did nothing but his overhead kick the entire round. a number of people spam fireballs like theres no tomorrow! i fought an akuma who threw air fireballs ground fire balls and red fire balls consecutively… gouken who throwing one up, one down alternating and predicting your next move (jump or dash)… its rediculous. street fighter has been out for 20 years and that’s ALL you guys can come up with??? is fireballs? man i get so pissed at this game and it isnt cause im a “noob” or i “suck”. its just that people have lost their morals. if i feel what i’m doing is too entirely “cheesy” i stop. simple as that. i switch it up or try to refrain from SPAMMING it. i feel that a win that way is cheap and i feel like i cheated myself, not only the other guy. i go online to PLAY STREET FIGHTER! that’s all. play a fighting game to fight! how can you feel happy about a match when it’s over if all you did was spam one move for 2 rounds??? :nunchuck:

If they always do one move then punish them for it.

Either they will realize that you are onto their “throw fireballs nonstop” strategy and start doing something else, or they will never stop throwing fireballs even after you show you can beat it (usually because they don’t know how to do anything else) and you will beat them easily.

It’s your fault for not giving them a reason to do something different than what they already do.

There are no morals involved in Street Fighter. (OK, except in extreme cases, like if a three year old plays against you and you tick throw her to a double perfect victory and call her a “fucking scrub bitch” after the match is over. I assume you’re playing people who are also playing to win and are physically developed enough to be able to think on your level.)

Seriously though, really, you’re saying Street Fighter is morally charged somehow? I’ve heard the term “honor” a lot, but “morals” is an entirely different thing to me. Walk into any ethics class and say something like that and you will get torn to shreds.
