Had my real first textbook disconnect tonight. Almost pulled off a perfect on him in the second round before he backed up and disconnected. I messaged him “sad”
“your connection being aids is sad”
“you get dominated and peace out”
“maybe you would win more with a better connection” (wut)
“the connection was fine and you know it, you bounced when you started losing”
“random drops sometimes happen stop crying” (changing his story a bit?)
“Im not crying, I find it funny that I beat a guy so bad he has to disconnect to spare him of such rape”
Also fought a Gief tonight who almost left the game, but I hit him with a EX Tiger Shot before he could, guy was 500 points higher also.
The first was a Zangief who, after losing to my Ken with about 90% life left, dropped immediately at the conclusion of the first round.
I, ecstatic that I got a dropper, messaged
"u mad?"
he replied: ""r u ok?"
I replied: “busta woooolf!”
I forgave him.
The second was a pretty decent Ryu who it went down to the wire with, gamertag Agent Hater. At the end I threw out a silly jump in ex tatsu to ultra that comboed, which would have won me the match had he not dropped right after it hit.
I sent him a "u mad?"
he responded with "u gay?"
I replied “Ultras are no homo!”
Stupid messages, but damn were they amusing to me.

I laugh and shake my head in equal measure at calling someone bad even though they just beat you. The scrub logic is utterly hilarious.
HD Remix bonus anecdote: My first ranked match of HD Remix got me a rage voice message from someone who complained about me spamming jumping kicks on him and being cheap. I was gief, he was Ken.
Also he told me to fuck off back to Kameo.
Edit: found another guy. This is my favourite rage-quitter. He refuses to play me in ranked anymore. First few times I played him I picked Sagat. Beat him by a decent margin, but he drops every time before the final SPD/Super/Ultra K.O.s him.
Then we met and he decided to pick Akuma. It was close, but I narrowly beat him. I noticed his profile said something about a clan so I messaged something along the lines of “can I join your club? I think I’m pretty good I beat you there, although I was close other times but you disconnected, so can I join now I beat you?”
i beat a moderately skilled bison online with my gief in a rank battle. almost instantly he messages me “grabbing, thats how i know u really cant play”. dont worry though. i quickly retorted with a message that read:

I once beat a Zangief with my Sagat by basically spamming fireballs and not letting him get in. He ragequit and then sent me a message saying “If u want to play a shooter go play halo 3. get skill.” My friends and I thought it was hilarious.
i was playing 5 rounds and played a ken fighter. i destroyed him for 3 rounds straight with Sagat. He messages me after the game and says “get some skill”.
granted, i spammed him with fireballs until he would jump, which i would then just tiger knee him back in the corner. But hey…he kept falling for it, so why should i do anything different?!
i laughed at him and told him to take his own advise.
it gets better though!
i see him in a lobby again and join just to put salt on the wound. this time he picks akuma and i pick sagat again.
i throw maybe 4 or 5 fireballs the whole time and still destroyed him. so i messaged him and asked if he had any other excuse this time and he replied with “good, you did something different.” i just laughed again and said i wish i could say the same for him.

I am surprised. Everyone here is getting HELLA hate mail for beasting on scrubs. As for me, no hate… at least, not yet. man I wish I was as lucky as some of you guys.
