- what I got after basically playing 1.5 handed(i was eating) with gief and still trucking him(ryu/ken/akuma) all 6 rounds. he rage quit in the middle of the 7th and sent that msg afterwards
i simply replied: “lol”

I lost to a half-decent Ken player due to mechanics. All I had to do to win was throw a fireball that is over him on wakeup, but I fucked up and got a jump instead, and of course being the ken he is I ate a fierce srk and lost. So I was kinda ticked off that I lost that way, but hey, it happens. And then I get this:
“all those throws and u still couldnt win…cheapness”
To be fair he couldn’t tech my tick throws all game, so it’s basically what I was doing all match.
I send back: “Play to win or don’t play at all. Good game.”
Him: “LOL…dont b mad fucker”
Me: "It’s not that I’m mad, it’s that there’s nothing wrong with throwing. Learn to tech, cause it’s part of the game.
Him “i agree but most of ur damage was w the throws…i just played a real good match w someone wo any throws … it just takes no skill. and kills some fights sometimes… but whatever im used to it on here. good match i gues”
I LOST to this guy? :sad: I’m realizing that I really, REALLY suck at SF4. Maybe I should stick with HDR.

A) They name themselves after an STD (srsly, you should have expected the message you recieved FordCQC

C) they surround their names with stupid stuff. Example: Xx$PimpFighter$xX

I was told that I have a boring Guile by a Blanka player after I beat him (pretty much). The dude actually, physically stopped playing, didn’t drop but just stood there when he had next to no life left.
So I messaged him back, partially to respond to his comment but also to complain about him quitting at the end of the match like that. I told him that jump-in rh xx sweep wasn’t particularly exciting either. I should have pointed his ex ball and slide spam too now that I think about it.
Anyway, s/he responds back pointing out he has 4k+ battle points and I’ll never have as many as he… I have about 3k.
I didn’t wanna get in a pointless war of words so I left it at that… Kinda regret even messaging the player in first place about quitting; not really my style
