I’ve only received 1 hate mail message so far. I was Guile he was Fei Long. I won by perfect. He whined about me tripping him up with crouching fierce kick (he said: is that how you win, by tripping people up?). TBH I did use it a lot in the match but he could have tried to BLOCK it (I’d do it on wake up you see - if he was any good, he would have used flaming dragon kick, or at the very least block it - I’d done it several times on him in the match already, so not my fault he didn’t learn)
I messaged him back and said: I do what works. Didn’t get a reply and haven’t met him since (forgot his name too).
I did get a nice message tho (which was a real eye-opener) - he was bison and I was guile. We both won 1 round each and on the last round it came down to literally one hit point each. I sonic boom and he gets me with a head stomp.
Moments later he messages me with ‘‘GG nice guile’’. I was surprised and honoured (in some weird way) - a decent player, who GG’d me AND complimented my Guile. Heh, perhaps there aren’t as many turds playing sf4 than I originally thought.

i would have lol’d pretty hard but im sitting in class and i dont want to look like an idiot. i have yet to run into somebody like that. most of the messages i get just say good match or something along those lines.
I get the odd message complaining about throws (I may be a noob, but its easy damage after a missed dragon punch) - often from Akumas who will jump fireball happily for the whole round 
I like the one guy that pulled on me, so I message em and see it said hes in UK. So all I said was
Good play, Chap
and he responded, All you do is throw cheeter
I replied, I was gief. surprise. you were sagat and threw fireballs, that makes you a cheater.
Ive only had 3 or so actual disconnects to which I will message them GG.
But in general most seem fairly good about getting a beating. Ive been playing alot of nonranked matches to just random and work on everyone. Ive had a few people friend request now because they know it wont be just Ken and gives em a chance to try against different people. Ive even gotten in some Perfects with Dan, and often they stick around for more.
And lately since I have the hard trial achievements, I get a few requests for tips on how to do peoples stuff.
I do recall I fought a guy on live named Skies yokohama. Sadly I didnt have my headset in but he was losing his mind and cursing like crazy. I had gief and spd a few times.
Then he had Fuerte and ALWAYS jumped back from a knock down. So is it wrong to lariat on his wake up 6x in a row? all I heard was a stream of sound from my speakers, but alas, no idea what he was saying.

Played a guy a bunch of matches, some were very close but I made out with the majority of the wins, log off for a while, come back on and he sent me a voice message, it was all garbaly and i could hardly make out what he said, something about him beating me 5 times in a row if we played again mixed in with a few mother fucker and you pussy, couldn’t really hear him over his 50cent blasting in the background lol.
some guy kept cursing at me during a match cuz i kept kicking his edmund honda with bison…so i said i would stop and i didnt he raged dropped and sent me a voice msg saying i was a fcking newb and that i would never beat him…so i sent him a msg saying i KICKED his ass

Played a Blanka last night with my Cammy…again. He really had no clue what to do, so I just went to the corner and waited for him to do anything. I had him to about 1/4 life, and he just didn’t know how to get in on me without blanka ball, so I just started taunting him. Over the speakers I hear:
“WTF, fucking cheater! Fuck you, mother fucker!”
And he dropped and sent me a message saying
“Why don’t you do something instead of run away all day? You suck and are cheap!”
I just replied “…riiiiiight”

So, I was playing against a Sagat earlier on. I was pulverizing him with Honda, and dropped him to a sliver of health. He does a wake up ultra, and I block it. Before the ultra ends, he disconnects. I figured it was a ragequit, and just went on my merry way.
But then I receive a message: “I want that fight. I got disconnected by outside means” or something to that effect. So, I invite him to a player match and he sends me a friend request. Funny how some things end up.

Played a guy called “DerzNoGodButAlah”, i.e. There’s no God but Allah, a popular phrase amongst muslims. Being a muslim myself, after deftly defeating him in several matches (as Dan), I sent another popular muslim phrase, that being “Salaams”, which means “Peace” in the context of greeting, with the intention of sparking friendly discourse.
The response was as follows:
“fuk u i got dat arab moneyyyyy bitch”.
I have no idea what that’s supposed to mean, but I guess it’s intended to be an insult of some kind. I simply said “My mistake.” and left him be.
