Often I’ll just play with the SF4 music, overall I like it, but that’s not saying that it doesn’t get repetitive sometimes. I’ll play a bit of trance on my PC sometimes. Also since I got the 360 collector’s edition of SF4, it came with the soundtrack of SF4, which I ripped on the 360 drive. I found myself often just looping one of the songs: the new Guile theme, which is just awesome.

Hip-hop with some random nonsense mixed in to keep me from geting bored, like themes from classic Sega games (from Sonic to Shenmue) and anime. Talib Kwali, Lupe Fiasco and NaS mostly tho. Oh, and the ending theme to Portal, love that song.
in-game music when I’m playing in person or voicechatting, but training mode & random online matches I usually have winamp on shuffle. I voted for Rock since most of what I listen to either sorta falls in there somewhere or wasn’t on the list. lol
It is hilarious to me that someone can name Beethoven and Mozart but can’t name the genre. Classical, anyone? :lol: I’m glad I’m not the only one who voted that, but I wonder if the other two votes were jokes or not. I listen to various things from my ipod while playing, but I prefer classical or something without lyrics.

Radioshows like A State of Trance and Corten’s Countdown are dope.
Will also sometimes play a trance set I recorded previously.
House and Techno work extremely good as well.
But for extreme sessions…i use Hardstyle/Hardcore ^____^
Usually some type of electronic music, particularly psytrance (if I bother to hook up the iPod to the 360). Infected Mushroom, VNV Nation, Chemical Brothers, etc. (though I’m not opposed to popping in some Opeth for epicness). I’ve found that this helps to “psyche up” and get the reflexes going while getting into a trance that clears out the mental blocks.
If I’m not playing seriously, I might put in some more relaxed stuff like Fleet Foxes; pretty amusing to hear these peaceful folky songs while two people beat the crap out of each other on the screen.
