This game makes me salty. I play it because I was a huge fan of the vs. series growing up. Now that its out the game is ass. Seriously. X-factor makes anything possible and it causes alot of bullshit to happen. Its a comeback mechanic that effective, which IMO and most of the players opinion, is lame as fuck. And these damn hitboxes make 0 sense.
Its still fun and I love it, but this game is ass… seriously.

Accidental throws happen allot with Amaterasu and Taskmaster players? Why? (H spam for Amaterasu, and Spidy Swing/Shield Skill for Taskmaster) TOO BAD TASKMASTER’S THROW ALLOWS FOR FREE SUPER.
I remember thinking he would be good since he charged the buster (zero scrubs never do that), but he rarely used it. He used it as a projectile like once or twice, but Arthur was able to stop it. Oddly enough Arthur was probably doing most of the work during those matches. It wasn’t even Golden Armor XF Arthur. I’m still surprised at how bad his Zero was considering his Dante was actually decent. Actually I don’t think Zero used any specials at all, except he did lighting on incoming characters. Which leads me to another things that makes me salty.
Cross-up spam. By this I mean people who pick a team all of characters that can keep doing cross ups until they get a hit.
Vergil. Seriously what the fuck was Capcom thinking when they made this character? They give him incredible normals that are safe and huge, great specials, three great teleports, big damage, four supers that are all great, lvl1 ouroboros, multiple moves which can cross up, and good assists. How is he balanced? Oh yeah hes got low health.
That’s annoying yeah, but I played someone who was doing this with HULK and HAGGAR today. Magneto too but that’s to be expected.

You have no idea how many times I thought I was ready to start pushing buttons again because it looked like Nova couldn’t confirm off of the combo. But he always does…I swear this guy’s “Grown-Ass Man Energy” seeps into the game’s hitstun detoriation and makes it more lenient JUST for Nova.
No way, heavies pretty much need to this stay alive for the most part
Also, I understand that Hawkeye’s Zoning is Really good and rage-inducing but what else do people want to do with him? Rushdown? His rushdown isn’t bad, but you want a master of archery, an expert marksman to go up and beat up people with the side of his bow? Thats like telling Chun-Li to use only her fists.
Hard Tags. This shit is DUMB. Like literally. One of our players has been using this to avoid mixups and resets. This shit is so high priority it’s ridiculous.
I won’t even be surprised if someone discovers that you can XF a hard tag and combo off it.
I have had so many setups/resets ruined by a hard tag. That shit makes me mad salty for no good reason
Did you know people can combo off of Strider’s wall-cling dive kick with a hard-tag?
Learning that the developer of Skullgirls, who “mained” Shuma in Mvc2 didn’t know that he was a dude.
Wesker anchors or “Online Teams” that abuse lag(i.e, Hulk). Especially when they taunt after a close match.
Whenever I fight one of these teams, and my Phoenix Wright gets Turnabout Mode, I make it a point to somehow combo into his Ace Attorney for the kill. Then I proceed to wavedash to them and sneeze on their corpse multiple times. Glorified victory dances are justified against that bullshit.
Also, I’m totally aware of how hypocritical this may sound.
-His normals are not even remotely safe
-His only great special is round trip
-He has the worst true teleports in the game
-He does average damage
-Dimension Slash is low on damage and is only good for DHCing out of
-Lvl1 ouroboros that go away when he gets hit and last half as long
-His Devil trigger is not better than Dante’s
-Rapid slash is his only cross up move beside his teleport
-Rapid slash is his only good assist and its not even that good not bad by any means but its your average combo extender
I know this is a thread about what makes YOU salty but you could at least have correct info and not just spew bullshit everywhere.
I’d have to say people that taunt when they get wins online as if online is a consistent measure of skill. The idea of thinking too much of oneself annoys me anyway though. Sure you won a couple online matches, but I highly doubt I’ll ever see you on any notable streams or that you’ll ever get sponsored for all your online warrior efforts. But anyway online play gets me salty period, can’t really complete combos, I’m forced to use a slight variation of my Vanilla team to actually get legitimate wins which is a team I don’t want to have to use anymore (Zero, Wesker, Dormamu/Doc Strange)
