Doom’s j. :s: is fucking outrageous. Doom can keep everything else he got but the hard knockdown on footdive and the fact that you have until next year to combo from it, EVEN FROM A TRADE?!
In all honesty, there’s probably no more than 5 characters who were correctly balanced and brought to where they’re competitively viable but not stupid.

Sometimes it’s just too hard to get evidence when I got dirty noodles, arrows, and teleporting kicks after me (points at you), but you are right about everyone thinking he’s free because his bad normal, it does get to good unexpected hits because people like to mash against him.
Yeah even on a freaking trade. It is HORRIBLE when you hit doom at the same time his footdive hit’s you, and you release a sigh of relief and go “ahh good thing he can’t combo off of this.” Then doom casually floats down and OTGs you into combo into death. Literally lost me a match one time.
lol I mean once doom hits you with j.S foot dive, the guy can run a marathon, have tea with the queen of england, find the cure for cancer AND THEN OTG you. It amazes me how much leniency of time Doom is given to OTG post footdive, I must look at the frame data of frame advantage on hit for that move.
It’d be one thing if Doom’s combos at least required a brain to perform, but come on guys.
Bucktooth loop? I mean starting the combo is easy, but isnt that hard? I haven’t attempted it myself since I don’t play Doom but I dont think his combos are too brain dead.
It is tricky, especially online, but it’s not that hard. Plus most people use Doom as an Assist/Anchor, and with XF3 you don’t need buktooth loop to kill a character.

The Buktooth loop is pretty friggin easy. It only becomes somewhat difficult after the 2nd rep. Then again, whose combos in this game aren’t easy? Besides Felicia, Magneto, Dante, C. Viper, etc.

Surprisingly I haven’t found that many bad matchups for my team except for maybe Wesker. But my team is so balanced I hardly get salty at anything other than scrubs who abuse the game’s easy mechanics for free damage. I have a Great Brute, point character/Great Keepaway/Great anchor/jack of all trades.
