Honda vs Chun Li is pretty cool - it’s a relatively fair matchup that looks so hard to get in, yet you can always “suddenly win” from a solid read or guess, which feels pretty awesome.
Honda vs a good Fei is also fun to play since it’s basically the opposite situation from vs Chun: you can never truly relax until the end, since Fei can always “suddenly win”, yet you can consistently be in a strong, confident position yourself.
In general I like Honda matchups because they are so diverse. In some you play a defensive tank, in others you’re the aggressive rushdown, and in yet more you play a careful back-and-forth dance. I just love this great matchup diversity.
I don’t know that I like a particular character matchup so much as there are people who I enjoy playing. Like I enjoy playing Thelo because he is, in my opinion, the best HD Remix Honda and if I get my Cammy to the point where I’m competitive against him I know that I’m moving the right direction in the matchup etc.
But character wise, I really enjoy Cammy / Blanka and Cammy / Sagat. Blanka is fun because he’s so agile and he can just be so damn tricky… although jump in tick bite still annoys me. Cammy / Sagat is fun because it really is a guessing game between the two. Once Cammy is in his face the match is in deep trouble but Sagat’s dual tigershots actually make the guessing game easier and not harder for cammy so its not ridiculous.
I usually like playing Zangief & DeeJay with Vega. I usually seem to have good/close matches when playing DeeJay’s and It’s just a fun chess match with Gief trying to keep him out.
My second favorite is my Cammy vs Honda. Heard this was a hard matchup for Cam.

definatly guile - zangief, as guile you have to play a perfect keep away game, and gief has to close the gap and know when to jump in order to force guile to block high…leads to some very ineresting and thoughtful matches.
I’ve been really enjoying Balrog vs Fei Long matches.
And there seems to be an abundance of Fei players lately!
My favorite matchups are:
Ken vs Gief
Ken vs Sim
Ken vs Boxer
When i started to face good gief, i realized that gief is a shoto killer by nature, i really hated that matchup, when i decided to switch to ST on GGPO i came across a nice gief player called seshomaruu one of the best gief on GGPO he killed and raped my ken so badly that i was forced to counterpick.
One day i decided to face my fear and i realized that i was playing that matchup in a wrong way, i recorded every match, i saw my mistakesand everything changed, the matchup itself is pretty challeging, he’s pretty tough, since that day my performance improved x 10000.
The other matchup that i really like is vs dhalsim, the first time i came across a though sim player i was raped so badly too, that tough guy is called ktm0066, i was playing the matchup in a wrong way too, i was trying to keep sim as far away as possible from me, that was my mistake. then i came across another good sim players like pacloc, optimo_sf and other guys.
with ken you have to keep the preasure and use and abuse the kara kneebash.
vs Boxer:
I really love this match, my friend OneHitParry taugh me that matchup, a nice boxer player with his rushdown style pushed me to improve my zoning and reversals, you have to be perfect in every move, one mistake and the match is over.
I’m not trying to say that i can beat these guys easily now.

Zangief vs. Guile. It’s a tricky match for Zangief, but Zangief has the tools to get himself inside. It’s a much more fun than the Honda matchup, where you have to rely much more on Honda’s mistakes.
vs. Ryu. I guess I have to play this matchup so much that I’ve started to enjoy it. Ryu is more fun to play than Ken. I’ll never get tired of beating tatsus cleanly with c.hp.
vs. Cammy. Lots of Cammy players don’t quite know what to do against Zangief. It’s fun to play someone who’s trying to figure out how to time jump-ins and space cannon spikes. It’s fun because there’s no right answer 
Playing a Cammy who knows how to use s.mk and c.mk, and who knows that Zangief has no good answer to Hooligan when he’s crouching… that becomes a more technical matchup.
