What is your favorite CEREAL?

Just dropping by to let you know that I’ve been a key member of SRK’s elite Kings of Cereal clique for MONTHS now. Not trying to brag or anything, I mean the group is known for being very elusive and very exclusive, but it’s no big deal. Just letting you all know.

Anyway get at me if you want any hardcore cereal tips or advice because I can answer pretty much everything there is to know about it.

golden crisp mmmm

This is Quisp. It tastes like a sweeter and softer version of Cap’n Crunch.

Honey Ohs suck compared to the other flavor you used to be able to buy. I’m talking 20 years ago, here.

It’s worth mentioning: I order, stock, and allocate cereal for a living. I’m kind of an expert myself.

I always say, I’d invent a time machine just to get my hands on te delicious foods of yesteryear. Among them, Quackers, Keebler’s pizza chips, and Dunkin’ Donuts cereal (complete with magic-action Nintendo cards).

We really are as good as it gets. Just wanted to let you all know.

Sprinkle Spangles
Hidden Treasures

You ain’t a cereal head until you have eaten cereal for every meal of the day, for multiple days out of a week.

But European chocolate’s superior.

Hi sailorsaturn, I’m glad you asked!

I can tell that you’re no beginner just from the questions you’ve pose. It’s always exciting for me to see new faces eager to really dig into advanced cereal eating concepts.

In response to your two inquiries:

  • The best spoon to use is a big fuckin’ spoon.
  • Ratios are generally considered to be a very individual thing, even among top cereal eaters. You could say it depends solely on one’s own tastes. Anyway it shouldn’t be a point of great concern. A good ratio for an intermediate-level cereal eater would be lots/lots, and from there you’ll probably find you develop your own preference as you continue to build up cereal experience. Don’t be afraid to experiment or fine-tune as you discover your very own ratio.

Hope this helps. Don’t hesitate to let me know if you have any other cereal questions.

milk/cereal ratio is extremely dependent on the cereal being eaten though…it also depends if it’s your 1st/2nd/3rd/etc. bowl (or how much of the milk you’ve drank before going onto the next serving)

i hope to one day sit down with u guys and talk cereal philosophy over a bowl of 70%cinnamon toast crunch 30%honey bunches of oats strawberry edition and almond milk.

oh yeah how can we forget about honey comb? or cinnamon toast crunch back in the day when it didn’t taste all weird? and did anybody remember when you found out they started making bootleg cereal and being excited because that means you’re parents will happily buy it and only coming to find out it tasted like crap.

So… There’s also the timing of the cereal.

For milk it’s cereal before the milk, with yoghurt it’s after because it’s thicker and the cereal won’t float up.
I also like to go 50% soggy and 50% crispy, by adding corn flakes two times at different timings.

Mini Wheats.
