Is it possible that MS has rejected the patch for one reason or another, and it’s not actually coming at all? It just seems that it’s been so long, with no word it might not be coming at all.

Since SNK is Japan centric they just laughed at the concept of a 360 patch. It would make perfect sense since everyone says they only care about Japan. I’d say Microsoft rejected it in all honesty though.

about a week until tekken 6 hits and still no patch. This game officially has 0% chance of seeing any level of success. Way to ruin a great game.

Best you can do now is start petitioning for ggpo/2df-like netcode for their next kof.
we are all still wondering if there can even be a next one after this mess.
A series like this is too big to just disappear. Even if SNKP goes bankrupt (which I doubt will happen before the next installment), someone will buy them and hopefully they’ll do a better job of managing it.
