we have a decent scene for smash , UMK , and even rival schools. (Behold capcoms greatest 3d fighter)

I live in Atlanta, so Tekken, Mahvel, and Third Strike are really huge here. Also, Super Smash Bros. Melee gets a lot of love. Georgia is the official Brawl hate state.

Arcade: Tekken 6… A lot of people also play KOF here, but 3S has the most hardcore and dedicated scene.
Console: Smash. GGXX AC also has a decent following.
In Lousiana it Smash. There are so many smash players here its sickening. I just really can’t get into. No dennying Smash is fun…but jeez… Tekken is more than likely dead over here. I don’t know about the 3s scene. And Marvel still has some buzz. But before Katrina it was all about that MVC2.
Let’s see. Dover? That makes…me, and whatever kids hit the only place in town with arcade machines. I’d have to go with Marvel vs Capcom 2. I better still have top score over there.
here in the Nati Tekken 5:DR is the most popular, there are people who play other things (my main is marvel, and cvs2) but all i ever hear about is Tekken, in all honesty i like Tekken (since i met these guys here i have gotten a boatload better) but if there were guys here as adamant about Marvel or CVS2 then i would be a real beast at those said games.

The problem with Cincy is that they hold the Monday get togethers at people’s houses that ONLY want to play Tekken, on like 2 or 3 TV’s. Why the FUCK are ALL the TV’s getting used for god damned Tekken.
Shit, the only time I care about Tekken, is when its on MY PS3, because I dont have music on, and my outfits are regular.
But yeah, I’ve been doing 2D Saturdays at my own place.
it’s adam, i am down with Tekken, but as you saw last night i really did not even try. for instance i am big into Naruto GNT4, but no one wants to play, i am always down with Marvel, ST, and other stuff, but i am Tekken’ed out.
CvS2 is the biggest thing in Santo Domingo since Hyper Fighting. Also, KOF 98 UM, GGAC, MKT (N64) ST and TekkenDR have their scenes. But CvS2 Outnumbers everything, in all country, not only on this city.
It’s either Tekken or Smash, both seem to be more consistent at getting good numbers at gatherings.
There’s a group of guys that get together and play 3S every week, but they’re not ready for prime time yet.
In the San Mateo area it’s easily Melee (had a few tournaments), followed by MvC2 (few machines, but one is in terrible condition)
Pit fighter is realy big here in my city.
