The best SF game is SF4…no contest
3S is fun cause there is a lot of guessing and randomness…it’s a much less technical game than other SF games
ST is still a beast, HD Remix is ultra homo…looks stupid as well
A3 has messed up hit boxes and EZ Mode vc’s that do too much, and they lead to garbage infinites
CVS series is total trash, it’s glorified Mugen, but I’d still rather play CVS1 over 2

all real SF games have a scientific process…a method to the madness that an average scrub perceives when he sees a match.
3S has no method, just madness. There is no technique because parrying nullifies any set tactics. It becomes a guessing game…if you don’t agree you’ve never played 3S and you’ve obviously never played a good Chun/Ken that fishes for parries within low forward range.
I think people who liked poker ended up liking 3S. Both pretty much consist of educated guesses, all due to parrying. Get some of these 3S pros and take out parrying, see how awesome they become. Non-sensical I know cause it’s part of the game, but it’s funny to see how shit some players become when they can’t option select parry and jumpin parry.

fact is that it is pretty random and I bet a lot of the top players would attest to that. Funny how the scrubs are the ones who take the most offense when someone says that 3S has a lot of guessing…
And anyway who cares if there’s a lot of guessing, same with poker and millions of ppl love that game. Just play what you enjoy ain’t that an amazing concept? I still like 3S, I think it’s one of the top3 SF games of all time with SF4 and ST.
no 3s is a pretty stable game, 95% of parries are done through option selects, empty attempts (which are pretty much risk free), on reaction, or good reads. 5% of parries are throwing the dice.

Parries aren’t performed with carelessness and risk but precision and through OSs. But then again, I wouldn’t expect you to know anything about that you scrub.
