It’s not so much about the button layout for me but more of the Lever - Button distance which makes Noir my preferred choice. In that respect, i find it more comfortable.
Ah gotcha. I’ve had trouble explaining the “why” to people who ask me about it since I have sticks with different layouts. Thanks for the info guys 
Just don’t use the last 2 buttons. I never do. Not even on my 8-button sticks.
It’s not about using them. I don’t. It’s how my fingers hang when I am using the stick. It’s goofy, I know.
