nah…ryu i think is best with N groove…i think that he is a great rush character cause its easy to connect his jabs with supers:cool:
Why do you insist on “good” being equivalent to “damaging”? Whether you like to admit it or not, C-Ryu is a pressure character. His Level 2 cancels allow him to continue with the pressure (comboing into a hurricane kick off a close lvl 2 fb super, or a jab fb off a far lvl 2 fb super). After the cancel he can continue his pressure with his guard strings and build another level 2 (especially if he had a lvl 3 to begin with) in no time.
Everything is true! I agree. Ryu’s best groove is C-groove. N-groove is a good groove too, but not as good as C-groove.

I use C-Ryu in tourney’s and I am happy with the outcome most of the time.
If you don’t think C-Ryu is good, watch John Choi’s C-All Shoto team…that’s the only reason I picked him up in C.
I’m glad because C-Shoto’s are fun to use.
Especially his Akuma, damn it! I have used C-groove Ryu/Ken/Terry since the game came out, but I didn’t use Akuma before I saw John Choi raping that Lee guy. His style is an inspiration along with Cali power’s.

I don’t know what to do against Guile or Sagat. I can’t beat them on the ground when they stick out attacks. RC Hadoken is no good at close range. They just roll through and jab, jab, flash kick or roll, tigeruppercut/super. Pretty good how Japanese can just pick like any character and do good. Dan DP’s everything. Must be the super powers he gets from his extra thick glasses.
