Sorry if this is the wrong forum but I figure this is a noob question. I hear this term alot on the streams. What does it mean? Does it have do something with Tournaments or something in the game itself?
Also heres a weird note. I was watching Cartoon Network this morning and they have a show called “Run it Back” which is a recap of NBA, weird?
Thanks.

Run it Back:
In any game, most commonly basketball or HALO, it’s to keep the same teams and have a rematch.
Jeff: Aight, that was a close game, dude.
Me: Run it back?
Jeff: Yeah, run it back.
OOOOOOH, nice Thanks. BTW your Avatar is the shit.
In FG context it usually means a comeback in dire consequences. Huge lifelead, down 2 games in the finals, etc.
as video gamers, conscious of the fact that we spend a lot of time playing children’s games, we make a concerted effort to use a lot of children’s slang too
here is a good guide that could help you out if you’re wondering about further video game lingo:

No, it just means rematch.
Yup this, has nothing to do with a comeback. It’s most commonly used when a person/team has to play the same person/team again (Team SoCal just beat Team Norcal, but its a best 2/3 so time to run it back). Or in a best 2/3 match, if the person is considering a character change but decides to stick to the same character instead of counter pick, that would be “running it back.”
