Most people online (at least on 360) will pick Scorpion and spam teleport and GET OVER HERE!!, and the ones that have beaten me have usually been good at their character. But you’re also right when you see there are plenty of projectile spammers as well. I’ve seen people spam Kabal’s low-hitting blades and Kung Lao’s hat throws more times than I can remember. It’s not just Mortal Kombat that has this issue though…most fighting games have these people. Since MK reaches a wider audience than, say, MVC3, there are just more people online that are not in the same type of community as Shoryuken or other popular fighting game community sites/organizations. Simply put, these “scrubs” exist because of the wider audience and success the Mortal Kombat franchise has always had, and has successfully revived with what I personally consider to be the best Mortal Kombat game of its career.
