How about making his cl.lp do an absurd amount of damage? Like, 45 or even 50?
If they don’t want to buff SK’s damage, this would be a nice alternative. It would make FADC combos more damaging while meterless combos from cr.lk still crap, but at least Bison would gain the option to spend meter to do some damage.

One request ~ more hit stun on the first hit of scissor kick, preferably enough to fa2 so that ultra 1 can combo from a confirm. It would make bison more interesting to play aggressively and increase the damage output for fadc combos.

Yeah, you would be able to do lights xx pc. Which would be pretty useful since you could combo into lp pc off basically anything.
Here are a few things I’d love (apologies if they’ve been mentioned/discussed at length. I have skimmed the thread, but didn’t see them.):
I wish Ultra 1 was more like Chun’s, i.e. able to go through fireballs more. I know we can dash ultra, but it’d be great if it had more forward motion and a lot more fireball invincibility (image ex SK, that basically)
As everyone else has said cr.HP with a few less startup frames would be nice.
Also, this’ll never be agreed but it’d be great/hilarious if it was in: lk SK becomes an overhead. Think how overpowered he’d be!
Switch the damage on Fei’s Rekkas and Bison’s scissors. Assuming I’m reading the damage correctly, why does the guy with a dp from a defensive position, a command grab, a chicken wing, and an overhead get a qcf version of a scissor kick that does more damage?

Because Capcom sees absolutely nothing wrong with giving some characters a shitload of moves while others lack the tools they need.
You know I will say one thing. It is very annoying how you can just rush Bison for free. It drives me nuts when I here some lame brain commentator on a video talking about how “good” Bison’s wake up options are, when they know full well he isn’t all that.
that’s always been a tricky subject
A) much of the cast has DPs
B) the rest have actually nothing special so we just tell them to “block”
C) bison has exdr, tele, expc for real wakeup options. exsk beats some os’s so it’s situational and exhs is just silly so forget that for the most part
now for (A), let’s not kid ourselves: who doesn’t have a safe jump set up for DPs these days? unless you have 2 bars for your safety net you basically have to just block
for (B), their wakeup options really are crap so they just block
for ©, at a higher level all of the options are shut down. even if OSing doesn’t scare bison enough then just wait until you find the opponents who know how to just wait and react to each wakeup option bison has. bison then has to - you guessed - just block
so bison has more options… but they’re about as effective as anyone elses when it counts. no one in this game has “good” wake up. just “slightly less shit” wake up. it’s like bison has C tier wakeup, people with good DPs/command throws have C- tier, then the rest have D+ tier.
i mean i guess we could construe that into BISON HAS SSS TIER, SHOTOS HAVE S TIER, EVERYONE ELSE HAS B TIER

Bison’s options are all shut down by OSs, but not all at the same time. You always have to guess which OS to do against him, since if you OS a shoryu, he could teleport, if you OS a tatsu to beat teleport, he could EX devil’s reverse away. But yeah, they’re all reactable at high levels so it doesn’t really matter.
I’d say the only one with an S tier wakeup is akuma.
I agree its a tricky subject.
The effectiveness of his wake up options varies from match up to match up and is dependent on a number of factors like his opponents Super/Ultra meter, proximity to the corner as well as the risk reward ratio of attempting to OS Bison, can the opponent afford risk guessing wrong, does he play a high health or low health character.
But I do think Bison’s wake up game is overrated, it has some weaknesses that are not immediately obvious to players who don’t play him.
The free fucking jump ins have to be addressed. There’s not another character in the game with jump in this free.
Yeah any character with a lacking anti air will have some big struggles. I hope they increase cr.HP start up or something. Just that alone would help so much.
