I can mod three times as much and ten times as draconian as the current staff.
I just want the mods to drink heavily and be like…“Well…what is the worst that could POSSIBLY happen if we were to leave Kromo in charge?” You know…just toying with that idea of total annihilation…fingering that big red button.
For example, if the default user picture was just a big pair of testicles with the words"I am a bot" flashing, the forums would practically be on auto pilot to hilarity.

My biggest complaint in general are that the video ads are set to autoplay each time you click to a new page. Turning that feature off or having a mute audio default would be nice.

+1 For Vynce mod upgrade. He loves Dead Space, is an active poster, doesn’t get involved in stupid arguments, and seems like a fairly unbiased guy. I mean hell, we made Sep and Val mods how high can our standards be?

My main gripe about SRK for a long time that I’ve mentioned before but not in here ironically, has been the inconsistent and lazy enforcement of the spoiler rule. The spoiler rule as is is useless because it is not enforced nor is it respected by hardly anyone here. I’m glad Val made a new Walking Dead thread but I PM’ed him months ago about it before it got as out of hand as it did. It’s not just that games, movies, book, new, old whatever it seems like no one has the decency to use spoiler tags at all anymore which makes it kind of annoying to navigate SRK occasionally.

Besides that I really have no major complaints and enjoy GD, I don’t think it’s as bad as most people think, if it was none of the vets would still be posting.
Why can’t SRK just get spoiler tag buttons added. It would encourage their use. I mean if they took the time to make picture and video embed tags why not spoiler tags?
Wow, I never thought of that. Spoiler tags are not intuitive at all, and new people just don’t know that the feature exists.

I’d just like to say that the CindyClips are annoying to say the least.
I understand that this site isn’t free, so ads are expected, but video ads that open with sound on by default?! Rude, intrusive, and counter-productive (I will never buy a Droid phone, Orbit gum, or Wrigley’s 5 gum ever again).
As valid as those complaints are, these are not things GD mods can do something about. This is admin-related.

Right now? MrWiz is currently in the process of overhauling the forum software as well as migrating the forums to new servers to hopefully remove all the crap/errors/time outs we’ve been getting. Xenforo was apparently not designed to handle this much traffic.

Yes Xenforo is the software the forums run on. And Wizard probably has never seen this thread. This was for RC and I to gauge what to do with GD but real life took over and we put changes on the ice for a while.
Hasn’t it been about a year? You guys pretty much buried the plans.
