Closest I’ve gotten to hatemail was winning using only one combo with my solo Filia. I mean if you keep letting me hit confirm my light>strong link into a 20% health combo for one bar, Ima keep doing it. All he said was “Pick a character you wont abuse” So I pulled out Valentine and beat his ass not using any combos being how Id only practiced her for an hour. Then he left

Here’s the deal. NO ONE deserves hate mail to begin with. I don’t care if he spammed the one move that shuts you down and kept doing it until you died. By doing what works against you, he is playing smart. If you think it was too easy for him, you have two choices: learn to get around it or choose a different assist/character/team/order.
This goes for CaButler too, since he thinks some people “deserved” their hate mail.
Sending hate mail does the complete opposite of what you think it does. You think it’s supposed to shame or belittle the opponent, but in reality by the message being sent you are acknowledging that you can’t get around their strategy. Do you REALLY think that by getting messages acknowledging that you can’t get around it that people will stop doing it?
