I finally get my first piece of hate mail for this game. I beat this guy named WAY2GODLY in a five game set with my Cere/Peacock team. He leaves afterwards and tells me “cheap ass team change it, OP ass-wipe”. He played a Parasoul/Fortune team

It’s been almost all "GG"s when I win and “Nice Val pressure, you had me a couple times” when I lose (seriously, nicest people ever on PSN), but I did have a guy ragequit on me in ranked about 2 weeks after the game came out. I sent him a message and our exchange went something like this…
Me: Awww I really wanted the perfect 
Him: lol sorry bro you’re just too good. You should be up in tier 6 or tier 7, not tier 5.
Me: … so let me finish the game next time so I can actually rank up …

Yeah, all of my messages were salt from PSN. Im sitting here in disbelief at the people saying they don’t get any of it because I’m consistently getting marvel levels of salt here.

you just need to up your derp factor. if you want hatemail upping the derp is a surefire plan to get there. i never got much hatemail on sf4 till i derped through shit. kinda fucked that to get hatemail you have to play like a scrub… but its true. a GOOD scrub, if there is such a thing.

Just derping around one evening trying to figure out how do I Skullgirl, when all of a sudden I come across a solo Peacock. I do 3 matches none of which are close since I know that character and stay up in dem non-existent sonic boobs. I decide mirror is boring when I see poor imitation of mixups I used on him and switch to Double for the luls. Strategy consists of grabbing/j.HP into lame bnb until enough tension for hornet bomberxxCatelites, rinse repeat.
And then it happened after about 10 lol filled matches…

I wanted to respond how I don’t play Double against people I think think during games, or ask him how to make Hornet Bomber invisible but I was laughing so hard at that point I could no longer see nor breathe.
I get hatemail almost every time I play online. I dont like hatemail though. The last hatemail I got was from some prick who said something along the lines of me being a cheater because I use Double assist. The worst part was that he used Parasoul assist, which beats double assist CLEAN and he has the nerve to call me a cheater?
I will always think people who get hate mail get it because of the characters they use strictly.
I bet most of the people who have gotten the most hate mail use Cerebella, Peacock or Double.
I think it’s more so the way one plays. No one likes getting lamed out through tactics they can’t understand. Especially when it feels like they’d have won otherwise. Bonus points if it looks easy to do.
I ran into my good buddy WAY2GODLY again. This time he chose to ragequit rather then sent mail. After each match he would chose a different of characters and assists. Trying to find the most annoying combo possible and kept failing.
Earlier a guy named Shuro345 send me a message calling me a coward for not continuing our set. We only played two matches and there were lag spikes through out those matches. No way in hell I’m going to continue playing with such a horrible connection.
