He’s not made for keep away, Guile is. The problem with Ryu players is that they still play him as if this was SFIV.
And until someone proves to them that they can’t (by bodying them repeatedly) they’ll continue to do so
Ryu hate, what is this 1992?
Its funny, every other person I played the connections were perfect. After he messaged me I told him to get better internet.
What the fuck is it with people on this game claiming that others are “Cheating”? Is there some secret loading screen code that can be entered pre-game?
Yup lol. The guy was mad that I beat him and calls me a lucky player. I said he was mad and he blew up. Says I can’t handle trash talking only cause he never met someone that responded with clarity and reasoning. Poor guy is in his own little world. He put up the earlier set on his channel so I put my video as well. Tried to get a bunch of blind and biased fanboys from his Youtube to crash our channel and failed, miserably. He mad
I’m no pro player, but at the same time I don’t rely on luck. In fact, I drop a lot of combos, so if he really wants to involve luck, then luck was on his side and he still lost. Also it’s post #490 that has his earlier rage. Apparently he called another person a ‘lucky’ player.
pls stop turtle
It’s ok.
Dude, you didn’t know? All you have to do is eat your stick before the match starts.
But I play pad how I use cheats now
lol today I played my friend and he’s “Now I remember why I don’t Fing play online”, “you’re a hype, just like everyone else”
I asked him what a hype was and he told me “a hype is someone who doesn’t let you breathe always in your face. Just standing there when someone is knocked down and not letting them get up”
I told him that’s how you play the wakeup game. I just didn’t understand, guess he wanted me to go easy on him xD
There’s no such thing as a player being a “hype”. There is only the opponent being free.
Does anyone have an HD PVR, or a similar capture device?
Won 4 or 5 matches in a row in a 2-slot lobby in Endless while I was experimenting with tons of different DLC characters, finally settling on Bryan as my Hugo replacement as a partner for Cammy. The opponent who set up the lobby was likely a newcomer, but I sensed no hostility as he kept rematching instead of booting me or leaving the lobby himself. His title was “gentleman forever.” As is my usual custom, after he finally left I sent a message with subject line “GGs,” and text “Take care!”
The dude replies with a no-text message, subject line, “Go fuck yourself.”
Me reply: “That’s not a very gentlemanly thing to say. Dudley would be very disappointed in you.”
You know, that’s a weird one man, I had that happen to me too (might have mentioned it a while back), was in someone else’s endless, seemed to be new but kept playing and I wasn’t even using my main team for the most part (this is before DLC of course), and I think either Thancruz or Kellogz was in the room too… Anyway we played a lot of matches, I sent him “ggs man :-)”…
…he sent me a voice message that was just straight ANGRY. Like, if he saw me he was going to punch me.
I don’t get the blinding rage at the opponent. Be mad at the internet, or the netcode, or especially yourself, but getting angry at someone for beating you is just so counterproductive, especially when there aren’t any points at stake.
I had a magnificent set of matches yesterday against someone with “luffy” in their PSN handle, which immediately made me wonder if it was the excellent and semi-famous European SF4 Rose player. Whoever it was, using Nina / Lars he/she kicked the piss out of me and I was delighted to be met with such a great challenge. We had some close calls but I lost every match, walked away invigorated and couldn’t wait to get another set in. Isn’t that what fighters are all about?
I agree, although I can’t lie, I’ve been guilty of that myself . Especially if I get beaten by something I know I shouldn’t have - but generally, I get angry at myself, not the other person. I may go into a blinding rage on occasion but I’ll never ever let the other person know that, and eventually just send a “gg :-)”.
You can tell I’m salty if there’s no smiley. :razzy:
I usually get mad at myself for playing someone even though I know they have a yellow connection or worse and I end up losing. I’m kind of a nice guy when it comes to handling my endless lobby and I hate to have to kick people after I lose because of their connection because it makes me seem salty when that’s not the case. I want to enjoy the matches I get and if your connection is slowing me down I’m not gonna be able to do that. Some A player sent me a smiley face because he was so glad he beat me as if I was salty about it lol! Facepalm I just want a good match buddy geez…
Only recently have I developed a backbone when it comes to being pressured, any other time and I find myself constantly trying to squirm my way out by the second time they jump. Maybe it’s because Cody’s got an awesome anti-air but things definitely seem a lot smoother and I feel a lot more calm while blocking. Just thought I’d post an anti-rant.
Yeah, I’ve noticed that it’s easier for me to get over my salt once I make myself send a gg, especially when I get one back.
