What characters you wished you know how to use but can't because they don't suit your style?

Akira - Virtua Fighter
Makoto - SSF4
Twelve - SF3

Chun-Li I like her opportunist style of play however I cant piano for shit which is funny because I can do every other execution heavy thing in any game possible for example ive played mishimas since I was six I can do electrics with 9/10 accuracy in my sleep

3S Yun and Dudley. Love watching skilled players use them but they never clicked with me.

I like watching a good Viper in SF4 but I’ve never been good with high execution characters. Same thing with Mishimas in Tekken.

Juri: storing fireballs on pad. Too hard.
Rose: Most appealing female character in SF, but she is made to be lame.
Yukiko: See above.
Remy: Cool, but he sucks.
Entire VF5 cast: too complex. ):

This karate ass nigga.

Anakaris in Darkstalkers - looks so much fun to play
Twelve in 3rd Strike
Iron Man in UMVC3 - difficult because everything he does is slower than anyone else on the roster

Probably Seth …

Are Mishimas really that hard to play? I’ve never really played one seriously, I usually pick Paul if I’m playing Tekken (which is rare).

Yun in SSF4. I just can’t go ham in that game.

Wave dashing is hard as fuck.

Im too aggressive and Chun Li in 3S sucks at that, she has to be passive. Im just gonna have to go that route, no point in playing other characters where I play. Shes a very limited character, and I just need to focus on getting the most out of her in all situations according to her style and not mine. Everyone else plays the other characters.

Too high execution barrier: Dudley, Ibuki

Incompatible with my playstyle: Raphael (SCV)

Both of the above: Venom (GG), Ling Xiaoyu (even in SFxT!), Duolon (KOF XIII), Mitsuru (P4:A)

Voldo - SC
never could get around to playing with him.

I don’t really agree with this. when you watch Nuki/Rikimaru/MOV they are all very aggressive. by being passive you just let the opposing player set up the spacing and situations he wants rather than forcing the game towards what you want. but you need to have enough game knowledge to limit opposing options.

the better you know the game the more aggressive you can play with her IMO. sitting passively and just punishing whiffs/hoping your defense holds up is very 2005.

Im no where near their level. Im a total beginner. I do a lot better when Im just reacting and being passive. But somedays I just want to go in, when I should make them come to me. I definitely need to watch more Nuki and them.

KoF XIII Yuri. She’s a skanky bitch who is great at opening people up. However, I as a player am pretty fucking gutless, and prefer safe strings, good pokes and keepaway tools to going forth and initiating offense.

3S Makoto. See above.

I like every fighting game character but none of them seem to fit very well with my personal style, which is to never practice or learn anything ever.

Eddie from Guilty Gear; he’s got cool combos and offensive game but I have trouble picking him up because controlling him and his shadow and practicing his combos are really difficult for me.

makoto in sf4 makoto in blazeblue

Hakan, Zangief, T-Hawk. I just can’t make the damned 360’s work.

Yet I have no problem playing Alex in the III series.
