Heh…it made sense that Abel was the main character of SFIV. He’s the first person highlighted on the character screen just like Alex was in SF3. Abel is really a huge tribute to Alex in 3S. It was there way of keeping some of 3S’s flavor in the game and not making the storyline totally revolved aroung the shotos.

Actually i hpe they put alex in SF4’ and build a rivalry between him and Abel like they did with him and Hugo. Tha shit was sweet and it would be cool to see a guy who uses controlled throws against a guy who just throws you because he can.

Technically there are two, the Genoshan mutate who was later depowered in M-Day, and the sideline villain that Nova fought before Annihilation Conquest - none of which are the Abyss in MvC2.
