3000 downloads oh wow, I have atleast over 30000 downloads for all 47 characters I’ve made and my site has over 200000 hits so congrats on your minuscule accomplishments. However, just because a person downloads it doesn’t mean they keep it. And I was very much on topic my good sir. I stated my case about mugen, that being that even though I’m a very active mugen char creator, I’m not gonna try to change the opinion of what anyone thinks here because this is a fighting game forum. and kamizazieeeee for gouken being my best work so far i did well and it turned spin off edits so i did something right. and yet that attack ( im glad you admitted it) didnt really make sense to me so i didnt bother , but i dont want to confirm wasnt it you who made blood riots ken AI? which was verbally raped from the Espot when we showed mugen to the ECTD 2010 event. That AI if you made it wasnt good work at all and shows why mugen wont be taken seriosuly. Blood riot told me you made that AI for him and i have a video of my (balanced in comparison to Riot Ken) AI to prove.
yeah you made more characters than me so what? what does that prove? nothing you can have 100 characters and people might only see one or two as great. then many others a just good. it’s all about quality and not quantaty.

I suggest you make Gouken a bit more solid and regular in terms of style, rhythm, and gameplay.
Right now his AI kinda just spams a bunch of moves, and if the AI is capable of doing that, then the humans are too.
Third Strike is not spammer friendly like how it is in SFIV.
But the problem is Ash (and most of the Extra characters) are not drawn in similar Capcom style, so visually, it looks awful. characters like Chunli and maybe even Sakura will be bigger/taller than him. That’d be ridiculous.
Now if someone (or maybe even a group of people) could redraw a bunch of Capcom and SNK characters in Capcom style for a CVS2 remake(or vice versa for a SVC remake), that would be something to keep an eye out for.
i change the AI because there were crazy complaints as to him being cheap. so i made him more like some average player just doing moves unlike the cheap Riot ken AI. no need to apologize bro just a miss understanding
^why are people so concerned with graphics and ai? those are some of the last things i think about when deciding whether or not a game can be taken seriously competitive. i mean common, ST quite frankly lacks in both regards.
Well I can understand bringing up graphics a little in mugen to be honest…we’re not bound by the 16 color limit any longer and people know that, so they expect more. On the same stroke though a lot of folks don’t seem to realize you’re working with a 600+ sprite set, sometimes easily a 1000+ one if you go with games such as Darkstalkers.
Zillion…can be a mess. They’ve changed their gameplay styles so much over the years and left remnants of the older ones throughout the characters to the point that you get some pretty odd behavior. That and it has a perpetual beta feel despite being at 4.1 (invisible strikers etc).
Alexlexus: Just because you gets lots of hits doesn’t mean you are a great creator. People like Vans are greatly underrated, he makes great stuff but most people doesn’t seem to be able to separate the good from the bad. Where your stuff are the bad ones.

Im talking about the character Dragonclaw. As for Thor, hes pretty badass. I never seen him in a another fighting game. Being a asisst only character doesnt count.
I think the point there was that Thor ends up resembling his base sprite, Alex, way too much…

I had nothing to do with riot kens AI iirc. Also AI is the last thing to be considered when people look at mugen. The AI does nothing but showcase what the char can do. Therefor AI does not make the char, the char makes the char : \ If a person considers AI to be the reason they say a engine sucks then something is wrong with that person in the first place. The only authors I’ve made AI for are Mr. Fong, Seanalty, and that one mkvssf reptile(wasn’t my best work I know).
Also don’t throw that quantity argument at me/ My goal in mugen was to prove that you can achieve quantity and quality without looking like Kong. What you think of my characters is not a concern seeing as you used that argument against me in the first place.
Lastly, having people edit your char doesn’t mean much either. It just means they were too lazy to do the entire thing from scratch themselves. See all chars edited from P.O.T.S.
