I’m sure they are just happy to have delivered it and be done. They probably don’t even know what “FGC” means
How could they not? Wouldn’t a job related to fighting games have a intimate link with the community that follows it? I would say at least MOST of the creators know us as the primary target/customer who buys these types of games and ultimately determine how successful it is.

I think Ono’s making a big overblown deal about how hard he has to work. It’s not like he has anything to do outside of…well, what (besides queen around the office, annoying everyone and rubbing the paint off the ass of that Blanka toy he keeps with him)? His games are DONE already, doesn’t have to learn english for interviews that don’t even last an hour, what’s the problem? I’ve SEEN overworked people, and they usually aren’t as…plush, as Ono is, despite living on fast-food takeout and sugary drinks.
I could care less what capcom does now adays, unless they make a new Demons Crest OR mega man x game
the whole article is just ono trying to pass blame for the train wreck he gave birth to, SFXT.
To be a hipster is to pretend that you like shit that sucks, because you think it’s funny/cool/whatever.
Seinfeld does not suck.
Therefore, I have proven that a certain person (or persons) in this thread need(s) to die in a fire.

Seinfeld does not suck…
…but the guy who played Kramer REALLY gave weight to Husserlian transcendental-phenomenological reduction.
Which, in his case, unfortunately reduces him to his true state of “twat”, upon any future viewings.
Have you forgotten about all the other Capcom luminaries that abandoned ship over the last decade? (I know you are kidding around but it’s something worth mentioning) Not to mention that he says he went to the hospital for a week because of health complications caused by work only to be put back to said work as soon as he returned. Capcom is hella crazy.
I think the industry has backed itself into a corner when it comes to AAA development. That’s where most of this ultra crunching is going on. Spending millions and losing millions to try and win double the millions. It’s like the game industry is one big gamble to these suits. If working at a big developer weren’t so bad we wouldn’t see outpouring of independent development in last few years. So there is a change happening but not quite in the way that it needs to.
Maybe a union isn’t possible but maybe some sort of code of ethics/regulations that everyone is required to follow by law. If someone is worked to that 70 plus hour degree they should be compensated for it properly at least.

Until you link an article stating how 4 people have died from extreme wrist cramps hand drawing the 7 billion frames of animation for the new darkstalkers, they are all lazy.
Get back to work.
Sounds like some of you havent worked 80+ hours a week on a fixed salary. I have no pitty for these fuckers. Work’em harder I say.
Over worked you say? That’s to fucking bad, maybe if they worked harder they would make more good games. Instead we get shit like Megaman 9. Who in the fuck wants to play a fucking brand new 8 bit Megaman in 2012.
Respect that Nihongo shit BTW, fucking union pussies.
People are saying Seinfeld is hipster? Dear mother of God, what is happening
Almost sounds like the military, except I’m sure they get paid better.
In other words, fuck 'em.
Military does not get paid for shit, but you get food and housing paid for.
Also Seinfeld is not hipster, but it is ass. God that show is bad.
SRK needs to drink that occultist kool-aid at times to kill this Sienfield hate

Only one dude hated on Seinfeld, I think.
I just dissed the dude who played Kramer, for his hate-speech, and think it utterly ruins anything that he was in, previously.
Kind of like O.G. Simpson’s becoming a murderer, fucking up The Naked Gun.
Seinfeld… so serious.
Oh, the irony.
Seriously, every good sitcom in the 2000s that features asshole characters and subverts all the old-school sitcom conventions where there’s always a romantic subplot and everybody learns a serious lesson at the end of the episode?
Guess which show they got it from. Guess which show did it first.
Go on.
Guess.
Doesn’t count. No Jews/characters clearly meant to stand in for Jews.
Note: the entire Bluth family might as well be Jewish.
Soap? All In The Family? Get A Life?
Ok, I just wnated to mention Get A Life because that’s how hipster I am…
