What are the worst match-ups for the top-tier?

She isnt Athena is Cammys worst matchup or atleast close to it. There is literally nothing Cammy can do against Athena’s df.

Anyway, Cammy dies to Iori, Athena and Guile, and RC Honda. I think I’ve explained this a zillion times. Recap:

It’s because Cammy has crappy roll. So, Iori RC rekka, Honda RC hands, Cammy does nothing and dies. Athena and Guile outpoke Cammy (cr fierce, cr forward) and since the only thing Cammy is good at is poking, she dies.

Yet most people refuse to believe Athena does do that to Cammy. Even people I did it to back in Washington.

I think Athena vs Cammy is 7:3 and so is Guile Cammy. Guille cammy may be 2.5:7.5 in Guile’s favor though, although I’m probably exaggerating on the 2.5:7.5

If memory serves me correctly cammy cant do anything to Guile but rc spiral arrow thru the sonic booms. And Guile has to throw em for her to even use that tactic. When guile is not mindlessly throwing sonic booms cammy is getting punked on the ground by his pokes. She cant jump at him at all. From what i remember he has an anti air for every good jump she tries. After a bit of that (if the match aint over) he can distance himself to create the idea that a sonic boom is coming and bait her to spiral arrow. He can hop over that with his MK or beat it clean with his standing short or flash kick.

This tunnelvision scenario is what will usually happen to a c/a cammy. RC sonic booms beat low jumps of n/s/p/k

another quick question. what can guile do against cammy when he’s inside her far hp/hk range?

dash back - cammy’s walkin speed is quick, hp is fast, hk has mucho range

roll through - and get thrown? this is cammy we are talkin about. if i learned one thing, its rolling vs cammy results in getting thrown quicker than most characters

block - you are getting nowhere by blocking

parry/JD if possible - same with rc-ing

for super, i think he means sonic hurricane, and that thing is damn fast…if he’s trying to walk in and out of her st.hk range, she’ll eat the super when she walks foward.

dash back. guile’s dash is pretty good, and he covers quite abit of distance even on the hop back, leaving relatively safe.

i would agree that rolling is a bad idea most of the time, though you may be able to hit her with the roll -> super scrub tactic, since she’s throw happy.

block. actually, i think you can reversal sonic hurricane her st.hk after blocking.

Just block. She pushes herself out by using those pokes. The far fierce will lead to a walk in c.mk or s.hk at best. If the mk isnt canceled into a special - she’s off you. The Hk does nothing but push her out. When she pushes herself out you gotta make a move. I’d try the hk that steps in or walk a bit and c.mk. You can also sonic boom or f+mk (hop kick). This match is about spacing. Cammy is in trouble in this fight.

The scenerio above is for guile trapped in the corner. Outside the corner cammy has hard time poking at guile.
