man dont be so quick to dismiss it, iron man/psy pretty good vs magneto based teams. its got its uses
Only if Magneto gets careless and runs into Psylocke assist. IM can’t utilize Psylocke AAA like Magneto can 'cuz IM is too slow. Magneto’s rush can cause hella impatience and FORCE mistakes for Psylocke to capatilize on. But in IM’s case, yes, his rushdown can cause impatience, but it takes a LOT more work and you’re better off w/ Sentinel <Y> for cross-up/triangle jump mayhem.
In short, while Magneto can force his way in and get a hit for Psylocke, IM has to rely on luck and for Psylocke to hit by herself.

In Cable’s AAA, theres a slight pause after it first hits until he actually launches the spear thing. Just jump up and hit them during that pause, and you’ll knock them out of the assist and can go straight into the inf.
yeah geronimo that all makes sense and maybe i need ot play some better magnetos, but it seems like jsut the PRESENCE of iron/psy huts his game, ya know? i mean i totally agree with what youre saying that iron man doesnt help psylocke get a hit, but it gives magneto something BIG to worry about… and doesnt let him do what he really wants to. and that counts for a lot i think
IMO cables aaa > psy’s aaa. Its almost the same shit but cable is much nicer, and u also get cable/IM which is pretty good if u know how to use IM’s assist,instead of psy/IM. Also cable cant really get caught in the unblockable as much, while Psy is the easist bitch to get. Just my thoughts haha. But if you can use psy’s aaa handle it, thats if u dont mind getting hit by the unblockable
Yeah, I see your point. But then again, MSP vs. MSP isn’t a very rare match-up. People play that all the time. So most Magneto’s should be used to fighting against Psylocke AAA. And IMO, the presence of Mag/Psy > the presence of IM/Psy. But either way, if Psylocke hits, you’re gonna die regardless.
So you can’t really go into a match fearing Psylocke, you jus’ have to play your game and hope for the best.

cool… I’m gonna try out an IM + cable team next time I play. My current fave is Iron MAn Storm Psylocke, but this makes me wonder.

with s/d u need meter and u only get one in the beg of the match so there aint much to do so prophit? start wit iron man to built up meter with his infinite or other ways like smart bombs and shit once iron man dies then yes go with wit dis guy said. because u’ll have enough metere then im out late
I don’t mind starting Strider first. Meter’s not much of a problem. The only time I need meter for Strider is against Sentinel.
