i had a saitek before but the dpad was really bad, for some reason it couldnt find downback or upback
so those fail
you cant go wrong with the blue logitech, in terms of utility for unit price. if it starts messing up just get another one they are dirt cheap
the usb saturn pad is also really good but judging from the above you might not be in a position to get one
current 360 controllers have a really wack dpad, although theres a mod you can do which sands/grinds the plastic thing around the hole so the dpad can move around better.
I used a lot of joy pad , if you ask to me which joy pad is best ?

and also logitech is my second favorite , but logitech is a little expensive , it is nearly 90 us dollar at here

The Saitek pads, depending on which one you get… are decent. The P2900 and P3000 are decent but might need to be broken in.
The upcoming Saitek control pads for 360 are real nice. They let you switch the positioning of the dpad and analog stick with an interchangeable module.
