I just want people to be able to make it to your tourney and figured some people do not have as much money to spend. I figure i do part to help house people.

It’s no big. There are going to be some people who just can’t afford to stay. And that’s fine. I’m not trying to bleed money from people. I did have to guarantee the Marriott a certain number of rooms sold to lower the rental fee of the ballroom to something I can manage (still not that cheap, lawlz). If those rooms don’t get filled, then I eat the costs and further bankrupt myself running this event. We justtttt barely met our room requirements last year, so we’re asking for those who can to book this year to help me out.
I know times are tough, so I’m trying to provide extra incentive to book. We are raffling off a lot of stuff (Xbox, PS3, ASUS Monitor, Gamestop giftcards, Bestbuy giftcards, Madcatz sticks, a Legend of Chun-Li Blu-Ray…) to people who book rooms.
Opening your spot is classy Nima, and I’m sure the guys who get to stay will be well appreciative. For those who don’t get to stay at the palace of Nima, if you can afford to, book a room at the Marriott. The rooms are really really nice and you get a shot at winning back stuff that is way more than your room costs.
Less than 2 months away and we may still have a very big announcement. I’m excited =]

Unfortunately, with the low turnout for KoF12 last year, we just could not justify slotting the game this year, especially when we were going to add Tekken 6. I look forward to seeing Canada having a presence at Warzone II though =]

I want to personally apologize for your experience at Warzone last year regarding HD (if you were even there). I heard that you were at Active Gamers and well… yea. As one of the guys who only plays ST, I apologize you haven’t had a good experience at a major yet. I will change that at Warzone 2.

As of right now, HD-R is going to be the first game streamed. I don’t think there will be able capture until Day 2. We’re still planning a lot of stuff out, but that’s how it’s going so far 
4sures. I believe these are the best West Coast tournaments, period. I had the best experience at last years event. Chunksta, sorry guy but this is how ima send u to losers…
