Hey John Rog, I know you said this is a BYOC event, but is there ANY chance there will be loaners?
I only have a PS3 Fightstick, not a 360 one. I think I remember you said there were some problems last year with people running off with loaners, but I promise I won’t take it - I have my own, just not for 360.
Last year I had to ask around before each of my matches if anyone could let me borrow their stick, and I’d like to avoid that this year if possible.
I also was planning on getting my TE stick dual-modded but I’ve been too busy the past couple of days to talk to people who can do it.
So… if there are going to be any loaners at all, I will GREATLY appreciate it!
Correct. Just show up on Saturday, no need to check in or anything. Look for you name on the brackets and play your match when you’re called.
Friday is the SF4 3v3 and casual play.
All my loaners last year were stolen. The 1 stick I had left I gave to Ed Ma, whose stick was stolen. Unfortunately, I just don’t have any to give other than my own personal stick. And I’ll be playing on it for the 3v3, but since I’m not in the singles draw, maybe I can let you borrow it for Saturday.

I had no idea they were all stolen. That sucks. I did hear about Ed Ma’s stick though.
Knowing now that all the loaners were stolen though, I do kind of feel bad asking you to loan me your own personal stick. So, just as sort of a disclaimer, if you have any concerns or misgivings about loaning out your personal fightstick to me, don’t sweat it - I think you’ve got enough to worry about as is.
I think I may be able to borrow a fighstick from someone else.
