You should really consider making HDR a singles tourney and really try to make it be on the big screen. That way more people play it and arent left with the bad taste of what happened from the first WCW

I would not be opposed to running HDR as a singles tourney if that’s what people want. Kai and I initially asked Valle to see what he thought and he recommended team tourney so that’s what we went with. But yeah, if more people want a singles tourney, I’m all up for it. In terms of big screen exposure, last year we ran the finals on Saturday when a number of players asked if we can just finish it off, so we did. With better planning this year, I’m sure that all games will receive the attention they deserve. To make sure the other games get that attention, we’re running SF4 last as you can see on the schedule of the website.
If you guys can get the HDR community to post what’s up about singles or teams, I’d be happy to change it for ya~

this is going to be sweet, is there any reason why Blaz Blue was moved from the 360’s to the ps3’s? is it so that there are more xbox’s for sf4? I am just curious, because BB is identical on both systems.

Why is Tekken 6 and BlazBlue on PS3?
There is an attack on BlazBlue that went off screen when played on our streaming TV at the first Warzone and a player lost in top 8 because of this. I was told by the BlazBlue players that a PS3 would be able to get the attack on screen. This being the case, I did not want to make Tekken 6 run into any similar problems. As Street Fighter IV has already proven itself to work fine on the TV, I am leaving that as is. I already have all these XBoxes, I should be using them.

I read recently that Capcom has moved all of their Q1 titles to Q2 of this year due to heavy competition from titles like FF13, Bioshock 2, Mass Effect 2, etc. I recall seeing the initial projected release date was March 23. Since Q2 is April 1st to June 30th, I think we will still be running SF4 proper. Should an official date come out for SSF4 and be before the event, I guess we’ll have to discuss that when it happens.

hmm i was not aware that there was a glitch, is the glitch a combination of the tv/ xbox 360 being used or just the 360? regardless i attended WCW 1 and thought it was fantastic i look forward to getting my scrubby ass kicked all over the place in this one! good times are ahead, thanks for organizing another WCW i know you, Kai and everyone else on the staff busted there ass last year and i know this will be another great success.
