how many entrants did you guys have?
I brought my rig to my friend’s place since he has a router that can access ports. I haven’t played 3S in like 2-3 weeks since I upgraded my computer due to Vista x64 sucking hard when using 2DF. I bought a MadCatz TE stick to see if it worked well with 2DF or GGPO and in terms of input lag it worked well. Compatibility regarding the programs still sucked since there was a lot of slow down and missed inputs. I’m trying to obtain Windows XP Pro 32-bit with SP2 since my last Win XP install was with no sound due to SP3. I gotta have sound when I play so I sucked it up playing on Vista which was probably worse lol. The tourney was fun for sure. I’ll be able to play alot better once I get Win XP installed. On numerous occasions I would do cross up dash and I would do mk into raida really fast or just HK and either I would get cr. FP or I just jump up when I cross up =(. I got a new router yesterday so I’ll be able to play on GGPO once I get Win XP installed. Even though I played on Vista x64, I still believe 2DF runs a lot smoother than GGPO.

No and No. When 3S GGPO actually works, and the players are close by, it’s far superior to 2df.
So it’s up in the air when 3S GGPO works? 2DF is more consistent in terms of predicting how the program will run. I am pretty sure GGPO works well when it does, but how often is that?

Well once I get Windows XP Pro installed I’ll make the final comparison since Vista x64 is trash on both. Oh yea, one of my matches I had to play with black stripes/bars, wtf is that? Is that something normal?
it mostly depends on who you’re playing too
i cant even get a decent game with WC players without it lagging like hell
and im forced to play on 2 frame delay ALL the time now…against everyone
but hey this shit is fun, Tenren if you play on 2df frequently again ill go back to 2df too
GGPO just starts up faster for me so i use often…kinda hard to find good players though on the EC
P.S- Tenren i told you about that stuff didnt i haha watch out for the K.O screen too
Would setting it on 2 frame be smoother than 1 frame?
2 frame is smoother than 1 but there’s a bit more delay, but again the massive frame loss you had was caused by running it on vista
I’ve fought plenty of west coast players on 2DF and it has run pretty damn good most of the time. I can’t even fight people a few miles away from me on GGPO.

finally got XP Pro on my second HDD so I’m dual booting atm. Hey Nica, I’ve tried to play someone with 85 ping on GGPO and ur right man, its roll back land or choppy. When do you all WC ppl play on GGPO? I’ll be in GGPO to check out the comp.
Yah Tweleve is right. I live in TX and he lives in NYC and we have no lag when we played on
2DF when i played other people on GGPO it wasn’t good at all.
