- F+MK > cr.mk > st.mp > st.HK > cr.HP > lk pinwheel FADC st.lk > cr.HP > sweep. 403 damage, untechable knockdown, first cr.HP whiffs on crouchers.
I believe it means the C.HP whiffs, you can skip the C.HP if the other person is crouching.

Yeah only the first cr.HP whiffs. If they’re crouching just omit it. The second one doesn’t whiff because pinwheel stands them up.
yeah but in my opinion it’s still a bad combo, without the cr.hp it does really a littile damage for using two ex meters. I don’t want to teach anything to anybody but we want to end the combo with a sweep to continue the pressure after the untechable KD hoping to deal some damage with a second combo, after all the FSE should replace the damage of the ultra. But during the FSE Juri doesn’t charge ex meter, so If we succed in hitting the opponend with a second combo we will probably have no meter for ending it with a senpusha EX for good damage.
Also it’s not even sure that we will hit with the second combo so using two meters just to do a sweep it’s quite a waste cosidering juri hasn’t any vortex that will put her in a decent advantage on opponent’s wake up.
The only situation in witch this combo con be useful is when simultaneously:
Well here’s the thing. Yes, while it only does about 370-380 damage it’s still better than nothing and an untechable knockdown means you get a safe-jump on most characters that allows you to at least continue a mixup game against your opponent and store a fuhajin for it. The damage is good enough for two meters when you think about it. That’s roughly the same amount of damage you’d get from hitconfirming into an ultra.
Yes, these are mid-screen, non-fuhajin stored combos, which makes them the most practical. You’re not always gonna have your opponent in the corner when you start up FSE, and you’re not always gonna have a fuhajin stored for the occasion.
You also have to factor in that EX Senpusha is hardly any better than HK Senpusha. It does 40 more damage, and when you consider the fact that there’s gonna be scaling, the difference just gets smaller and smaller. The only time I’d argue that EX Senpusha is much better than HK Senpusha is in the corner since you can get the st.HP for quite a bit more damage, or st.MP for the reset.
please tell me if this has already been posted…
j.hk, j.mp xx lk shikusen (one hit), kaisen dankairaku 461/290
midscreen confirmed:
dudley,gouken,gen,*hakan,abel,juri,*guile,rufus,fuerte,claw,rog,adon
*might have been corner I was close to it
‘J.mk -> activate FSE st.lk/lp -> go to town.’ - from the first post. I have been trying endlessly to combo into and out of FSE in a single combo as this entry seems to imply you can do, but it just isn’t working. Am I misreading this, or is the timing just ridiculously strict?
Eh j.mk? That’s gotta be a typo lol, probably j.mp, which puts your opponent in a juggle state so you can st.lk/lp poke reset and ‘go to town’, so to speak.
Not a typo. Timing is very strict.
shuffles back to the training room
here’s some facts:
I hope my bad english doesn’t make my post seem rude or offensive, I was only trying to be clear and concise.
The first Cr.HP will not turn a 400 damage combo into a 500 one. It gets scaled down. That and every hit after that also gets scaled down. Omitting the Cr.HP drops 22 damage off the total combo. 403 to 381.
With a full FSE bar, you get 15 seconds. That combo takes about 3. Then take away another 2 for the untechable knockdown. If you can’t touch your opponent with something within 10 seconds, then I just don’t know what to tell you.
Okay so DP FADC Ultra and the like are not practical now? Because I’m pretty sure unless you’re Rufus, getting 350+ damage out of 2 bars is pretty damn good. You also have to consider the fact that Juri is not meter reliant and she builds meter like a monster.
Even though Juri’s combos and forward throw push the opponent to the other side of the screen, you have to consider some things. What if you land a sweep during footsies? Are you not gonna activate FSE just because you’re not in the corner? What if you land a backthrow mid-screen? Gonna skip it then? What if you combo into it via low forward xx fuhajin FADC and can’t drag your opponent to the corner from that combo? There’s no denying that Juri’s a beast in the corner, but you’re not gonna get all your knockdowns there.
Alex vs. FloE showed us that it is indeed possible to get 2 combos in even with half meter. That is clearly shown several times, and most of the combos FloE did were not short. If he can do 2 with half a meter, he can do much more with a full meter.
sorry if these combos have already been discussed (probably have). i can’t actuallly execute the first one because i play on a ps3 pad (not that it matters because you’d probably only get to do this combo once in a million years). but i know it works for sure:
vs sagat cornered (probably works on gief and hawk too):
(hold lp+mp fuj) j.hk, cr.hp, rel lp fuj, cr.hp, rel mp fuj, fadc, cr.hp, ex senpusha
can anyone tell me the damage/stun? i guess it’s got huge stun for sure.
other nice vs sagat corner combos:
1 (hold lp fuj) j.hk, cr.hp, rel lp fuj, cr.hp, super (532 dm, 580 st) - (if you do a lk senpusha then cancel it into super 531 dm, 604 st)
2 (hold lp fuj) j.hk, cr.hp, rel lp fuj, cr.hp, hk senpusha (394 dm 673 st) - (with ex senpusha 418 dm 691 st)
That’s perfectly doable on a ps3 pad actually, and with default mappings doesn’t even require finger acrobatics
Interesting, does a second c.HP connect after release on the bigger characters, have to test this out. Although I guess its still more reliable with c.MK, since the second hit gets pushed back too much sometimes.
i didn’t say it wasn’t. what i should have said that i couldn’t do this with my own personal execution right now. i’m getting stuck at the mk fuj, fadc part.i gave up trying to pull it off…but i probably could do it if i practise it more often. i do know that it works for sure though. with a stick it will be much easier.
you have to do a lk fuj first for the second cr.hp to connect. if you do the mk fuj first instead of a lk one, it pushes you too far away for it to combo (although only just so maybe it IS possible this way just extremely tight link).
i haven’t tested it on gief, hawk or rufus. but i am almost certain it will work on all of those 3. possibly guys like boxer, abel and gouken too (but less likely).
another nice combo on sagat for 370 damage (much easier too):
hold lk fuj, j.hk, cr.hp, lk fuj release, cr.hp, ex low fuj
The frame data is a lie?
Pulled this off against a Balrog online yesterday. No luck recreating.
c.lk,c.lk,far s.lk.far s.lk,c.mk, hk pinwheel
far s.lk is supposed to be +4 on hit
while c.mk is supposed to take 6 frames to start up.
Not to mention I’ve been comboing far s.lp into sweep, but I think a one frame difference is more forgivable there.
I saved the replay if anyone on psn would care to see it.
probably counter hit
Zuji I respect your opinion but I do not have the time for an endless debate. If you think that combo is a good one use it and maybe when some time will pass you will see that it’s a waste of meter that can be used in limited situations, which does low damage and reduce the available time of FSE.
Floe does long combo in FSE only when those are damage combo, when he wants to end a combo with a sweep he always does short combo.
If we’ll ever see a good player use that combo I will post my apologies but I dubt it will ever happen.
Regards
one combo that i know is not possible with FSE that PROBABLY got took out of the final build is this:
till this day i cant get it.
Again Duke. If you wanna say it’s a low damage combo and you have something better that deals decent damage, starts from an overhead on a crouching opponent, and ends with a sweep you’re more than welcome to post it and if it’s better then I’ll change it. Until then you’re just blowing hot steam. shrug
@ Basic: I’m sure that is very possible. There’s nothing about that combo that makes it undoable.
No, it has to do with the hitbox moving allowing the last far lk to whiff on its first active frames giving you an earlier recovery against his hitstun. I used to do similar combos with Gens standing mk.
