The promblem with 3s is it really isnt a typical street fighter game at its core. Personally, I dont like guessing based on the parry system. Seems like characters that can play incredibly safe, maximize off one hit into super combos, or rush down only benefit from this system. If imo parries benefited other player types as much, say Remy, as much as ken id proably play it more.
Playing 3s is like paying Mindy Cohn to stomp on your testicles with stiletto heels, but instead of stopping when your burlap sack of magic looks like an old cherry blow pop that fell under the fridge for 3 years, she manages to revive your brutally disfigured corpse of a cockadoo long enough to brutally and savagely rape you. Then she shits on your chest.
Maybe im the retarded one, but i will play all the street fighter games, each has it’s own “style” the all just have th one common thing, the name and fighters, everyone brings something new, and adds something old. who cares which is better…
shit i grew up on MK also but when you go from 1 to whatever the newest one they have out now, ill give each one a chance, but nothing will ever have the same feel that mk2 had, I think it was stupid but who ever thought of the run button?
everyone should remeber this is a buisness to bring in money for these people…
I had a lot of my friends over today. They played ST for about 15 minutes then went back to Project Justice Rival Schools and 3s for about 4-5 hours.
I don’t give a shit if I get parried. People need to grow some balls and just play the damn game, you take risks and win and lose. You can’t have EVERYTHING you throw out parried.
Thank you. I agree. I believe both ST and 3s are good games, they are just different. Just because it isn’t ST doesn’t mean its shitty. Its like hating Final Fantasy 8 because its not like Final Fantasy 7 and saying “Its not a real final fantasy!” or “its not a good final fantasy” when each game is completely different minus the basic battle and exploration systems.
ok i let the fun run long enough, but when final fantasy starts getting into the mix, especially when drawing comparisons to sf, that’s when the fun stops.
