Yeah, wrist rollers are fun…

Wrist roller
Thick bar or heavy DB holds/Farmer’s walk
Plate pinch gripping
Captains of Crush gripper
Rice digs
Deadlifts

I know farmers walks is what I first did. Chin ups really worked them too and power cleans cause I needed to hold on so damn hard.

i was wondering if i should order equipments online or go directly to the store that got the equiments i want… what you guys think?

also… theres a couple a things i want to buy that i can only find it online but not the nearest locations around my area. im either mad shitty at searching for it or the stuff i want they dont got here in the U.S… any tips when i try to find the nearest stores where i live?

What are you trying to buy?

^ just some stuff i saw chuck norris in…

is that site legit? can i buy stuff with my credit card through there?

For Protein purposes are Amino Acid Capsules just as good as Protein Shakes?

Don’t think so and it depends on if you’re looking for a fast digesting protein for post-lifting sessions or something to supplement throughtout the day. The latter situation would favor a casein powder instead.

Anyone know where I can find a good flat bench that can also be adjusted to 90 degrees?

Is doing triceps/chest on the same day and biceps/back on another not a good idea? I see most recommend chest/back on one day and then arms on another. I tend to do triceps/chest, biceps/back, shoulders, and legs but I’m not as dedicated as I was during the summer with school keeping me busy.

That’s goes to 85 degrees and most people say it’s a great bench.

I personally don’t do any direct biceps & triceps work. When you do chest or any pressing exercises, your triceps will be worked to some extent. The same goes for pulling exercises and biceps.

i ask around if the site i wanna buy stuff at is safe… and people say its safe…

what i dont get is why when i try to buy something and use my credit card. all the numbers show up… is that shiet even safe…?

other sites… all the numbers except the last 4 are visible… but not drugstore…

i just need reassurance before i go and order stuff with my credit card you know…

i’m looking for an adjustable leg raise machine that goes from horizontal to vertiacle. anyone know where can i get something like this?

Hey guys. I really wanna get back to lifting and doing it on a consistent basis.

Would anyone recommend a 2 or 3 day program to bulk up? Or maybe 2 different programs? One to use for the next 4-6 weeks, and the other after that to mix up the routine.

Thx.

wrist roller

stronglifts.com has a basic 5x5 program. Here’s something from the top of my head (it’s pretty basic).

Day 1

  1. Deadlift (conventional or romanian)
2a. Barbell rows with underhand grip
    2b. Bench press
  2. Ab exercise

Day 2

  1. Barbell lunges
2a. Seated rows with neutral grip (hands facing each other)
    2b. Bench dips
  2. Ab exercise

Day 3

  1. Back squat or front squat
    2a. Pull-ups
    2b. Overhead barbell press
  2. Ab exercise

Week 1: 3 x 8
Week 2: 4 x 6
Week 3: 5 x 5
Week 4: 6 x 4
Week 5: Rest

For 2a & 2b, alternate each set with about 30-45 seconds of rest in between. The other exercises you can rest 1 1/2 mins to 2 1/2 mins between sets.

I didn’t pick specific ab exercises cause what other people think are good exercises I necessarily didn’t agree with and vice versa.

i’m having problems keeping form on my RDLs

i find if i spread my legs far enough i can keep my back arched and feel the strain in my hamstrings

problem is if i add weight i lose my form and lose that burn in my legs and feels like im mainly working my lower back

should i invest in a weight belt?

Slight bend at the knees, work on interior hip flexibility. Keeping a slight bend at your knees should help you keep your back nice and straight. You probably shouldn’t be using so much weight with RDL’s that a core weakness would require a weightbelt to compensate.

thx for tips

ill try it out tomorrow morning and see if it will solve my problem

Hey I used Hydroxycut Hardcore back in January for about 2 months and lost a good 15pounds with that and hardcore cardio (about an hour of running\biking). I got off of it but I’ve been on a plateau for the longest time so I’m thinking of going back on it. Is there anything better for fat burning than that? My main routine now is 30 minutes of biking/running followed up with 30 minutes of swimming. I got 20 pounds left to lose to get to my goal of 190 so it seems like I need some help for that final push lol.

well regardless of how well your diet is, the last lbs to shed are usually the hardest. i once went from 210 to 165 in less than 2.5 months. That was from strict dieting, 3-4day split, then running twice a day 5 days a week. 2.5 miles in the morning and another 2.5 at night.

My goal was 155 and i did manage to get there but i had to switch to HIIT cardio but only had to run once a day 3x a week. I was able to lose that last 10 lbs in about a month give or take.

So what I’m trying to say is you should try and stay away from pills or what not, and see if changing your routine will help.
